For almost a 2000 EUR scooter, the build quality is absolute junk. I have the same issues on both wheels. The nuts won't stay tight no matter how much I secure them. The whole thing starts to rattle after every 50 km. This scooter is going back. It's not safe to ride and it's a disgrace that Segway put something like this out into the market.
@@howthech Hillman brand at Home Depot or Lowes. "Insert lock nut nylon class 8". You'll have to find the right size, also pick up some nylon washers too. I've had to inspect and retighten all the locking nut at some or another, especially at the rear location. I replaced the right side suspension locking nut on the front brake caliper side awhile ago and haven't an issue with that so far. My advice is to replace any locking nut that will not stay tightened, also using some Locktight product.
I'm having the same issue as you. I'm putting red Loctite for the last try before I send it back to Segway.
I used red loctite like 4 times and it didnt work. You have to use blue i think.
SAME THERE ,2 times with the segway support already

It's best to buy a new nut. I had the same junk nut with the blue nylon. Where did you find replacement brake pads?

Any updates?
It didn't last long. But now I bought blue pasta and put it on threads so it is holding the screw for 100 miles now.
