The artist who created this recipe just used pure rice starch powder - just google that and you'll see bottles of it sold all over, it doesn't need to be a specific brand. Thanks so much! 😄
You don't need to use a muller. You can use a palette knife and simulate a muller motion but rubbing the paint in a circular motion on the bottom of the pallet knife while pressing down. Keep scraping the paint back into a glob and repeating until smooth.
Hi! Thanks for getting in touch. We actually just published a new blog about natural intaglio ink. Take a look at our website: naturalearthpaint.com/blogrecipe-natural-intaglio-printmaking-ink-/ I hope this is helpful! Thanks! 😊
We haven't specifically tested this formula on fabric. We suggest waiting at least a week for the ink to dry. Since it's oil-based it should be fairly permanent. When washing, we recommend washing by hand or on a gentle cycle with cold water and lay flat or hang dry. We do offer a permanent fabric paint - our Natural Acrylik Paint - which is definitely water-resistant on fabric naturalearthpaint.com/natural-acrylik-paint-individual-tubes/
It's an oil based ink but for clean up, you can use soapy water, although Eco-solve would definitely clean plates and tools most efficiently . Eco-friendly glass cleaners work well too.
Thanks so much, lovely demo 🍁🍂🤎👏

I will definitely be doing this and ordering supplies from your website! Where do you get the rice starch from?

Thanks for the demo. What if I dont have the muller ? Can I replace it with anything else ?

Would this formula be viable to use as etching ink / intaglio? Thanks! And if not is there a way to modify it?

Hi! Can this also be used in fabric? And if so, how long to wait to dry before washing? Thanks!

is this ink water soluble? How would you recommend cleaning it?
