those strikes may look full contact in the ITF sparring but they are not really. if you watch a few of thew "knock outs" or knock downs, the opponent runs into a strike, no matter how controlled you are, you can't make a semi-contact attack or defense lighter if your opponent throws themselves in front of it. just perfect timing each time, def controlled or their heads would be rolling from the force and may have delayed reaction timing so def not full contact KO's.
good real video itf tae kwon do not that called sweepings wtf that in fact must be called tae do. by the real meaning of tkd it is way feet and hands. but the shameful thing is that wtf to see lying an outstanding fighter tkd and say is ours is wtf. the best ones leave itf.
Yeah, tkd sucks if it were kickboxing or MMA rules, etc. Wow, that's news to us all!!! HEY! Boxing is really not good at grappling and we've all seen how most (MMA) fights end up on the floor, that must mean that boxing sucks?
