The combination of piano playing, random background sounds, breathing, soft harmonic japanese singing, the key clicking from the piano even, and all of the unintentionally included sounds seem to contribute a raw ambient quality to this whole thing that is boundlessly relaxing. Can't thank you enough for putting this together and unearthing a new artist to discover further.

its the built-in delay on the yamaha reface CP keyboard, i know because i got one after seeing ichiko play one live. you can replicate the effect with a digital delay with the depth set to max/infinite, adding sounds layer by layer.
