I took advantage of the sale at Harbor Freight a couple weekends ago when they had the Hercules 12" Double Bevel Sliding Compound Miter Saw on sale for $300 with a coupon....they had the Hercules 12-1/2" Triple Head Planer on sale as well for $330. The Hercules miter saw is a massive step up from the old Chicago Electric model I had that I let the family take after grandpa passed away....they wanted his wood working tools, I told them if they were doing that they were taking everything and not just taking certain stuff...made them clean out the shop....now I am buying better stuff LOL. I can't see anything wrong with that Hercules miter saw, and the planer works extremely well and has better dust collection than the Ridgid one that grandpa had...the dust chute on the Ridgid would always get clogged up, the Hercules model has a more open chute with less of a sharp angle to it so all the chips go right through. I have several of the Bauer and Hercules cordless tools as well now, I got rid of all my Dewalt stuff as I got tired of the ridiculous battery prices they have, and their tool prices have practically doubled in the past year as well....Nothing wrong with the Bauer and Hercules stuff. I'm a home DIYER, and do use some of my tools at work occasionally and haven't had any problems with either product line. I just bought the Hercules 20V Grease Gun a couple weeks ago while it was still on sale for $100 with the ITC membership discount....I finally got to use it this past weekend and greased the tractor in about 5 minutes including the mower deck and loader....makes that chore quick, although the only complaint I have is the jaws for the coupler on it make it hard to get back off the grease zerks, may have to find a different coupler...and those locking type ones that are quick release don't work well on several of the grease points on a tractor as it don't fit into the recessed openings for the zerks. Another good deal is if you can find them, Home Depot has the Black and Decker Workmate 225, portable folding workbench/clamp system for about $50. They work great for portable tool stands FYI....I have my thickness planer sitting on one....my miter saw also fits on it....I think they're a great alternative to the $200 Hercules miter saw stand LOL. I don't really move my miter saw around much so the limited portability of the workmate serves me fine. If you watch on Amazon, some sellers have the Skil Worm Drive 7-1/4" circular saw for $150-180 occasionally....usually that saw is $200 or more, so even $20-50 off is a nice break for a great heavy duty saw.
These are not good deals?!?!? $84 bucks for the first aid kit? This isn't even on sale let alone a deal?? Why make a video about way over priced items that are 10% off? This video is pointless. Your gonna put a 250 table on with 40$ off? How is that a deal?
