Thanks for explaining how to make a good thumbnail while other simply say "make a good thumbnail" with little explanation! Another thing I would say is take a look at how your favorite thumbnails from other people look like and try to understand what makes it good. Where is the player placed? What is in the background? What colors are used? What about contrast? How is text used? All that stuff you can take inspiration from for your next thumbnail.

Hey I saw this video and I love it but I wanted to give a bit of feedback, first the rule of thirds is great and I’ve taken some classes for videography things like that and for your thumbnails I saw you aren’t using it in the best way, the horizontal middle line is fine and having your character’s eyes/head on that line is fine but it would be better if you go where the lines intercept like the corners as those are the places the eyes are drawn to, hope this helps
