Sakin po 1 inch lang kasi depende sa lajas ng aerator pero pwede nyo ilubog kahit 3inches..

Yes po katubig palag lahat yan depende nalang sa paglalagyan mo size ng tank, kasi sa lakas na ng aerator pump magdedepende yan kung sa malaking size tank na ilalagay.

why not just melt a dozen holes in the lid instead of the elbow and extra pvc?

For me that idea is not good because if you lift the container the poop will scater and the water will be cloudy again..😊and it will not get the poop properly just try to make this and compare thanks for watching..😉
