Luke, I have been watching your videos and others have mentioned you on their channels to view yours. I’m so proud of you and your journey. Eres una persona especial, no se que es pero así es. 💯 I hope you are continuing your speaking journey to reach your goals of fluency. This was an excellent teacher in many ways.
Thanks so much. Comments like that make me keep going and wanting to improve. I’m glad that I’ve been able to assists some people with their own motivation.
I'm so glad you uploaded this session. I've been curious what it's like to work with a teacher. He's so engaging and easy to follow, and makes the conversation a very easy flow. I'm able to understand both of you very well (kudos to you Luke for your progress), but no way am I ready to try speaking like you! When it's time I'll definitely get some time with Osmel, or someone like him. Great video, thanks for uploading!
Luke, Bravo! It is amazing to me how much you can put yourself “out there” even with some mistakes. I am impressed because I am one of those people that has great difficulty making mistakes. You sound very confident to me and If I did not know many of the Spanish grammar rules, I would think you are speaking correctly all/most of the time. This video was very inspirational for me as I understood all of your ideas and thoughts even when the conjugations were wrong. That is the tremendous benefit of comprehensible input. I started Italki and Baselang a month ago (along with dreaming Spanish for a couple of months) and Spanish is opening up more and more in my mind and it is exciting. Love your passion and good luck.
Thanks very much for the support. I do appreciate the kind words, just trying to do my best and to show what realistically can be achieved. I wish you good luck on your own Spanish journey.
I hope you agree to do some focused grammar work with WorldsAcross on simple concepts such as correct use of the present and simple past tense. If you do, it'll undoubtedly take your Spanish to the next level
I hope to be able to join WorldsAcross in the not-too-distant future. I'm only at 600 hours and I think it would be painful for both sides (you and me) to try having conversations now. But hopefully soon because I live in Mexico and I need to get to it!
@@InputGuerreraEspañol Oh wow! Don't say 'only'! I'm coming up on 200 hrs and look forward to being where you are now. But living in Mexico while learning Spanish has to be a very interesting journey. I hope you're able to have fun with it as you go. Kudos for taking that plunge.
Its not just about output, you need to iron out your grammar mistakes, or you will continue to make them. The same mistakes exist from your first videos until now. You should be open to whatever they suggest. The CI only method might work for some people, but some people obviously need separate grammar study.
Yeah for sure. I think I am someone who doing some grammar would for sure help me out. I think once I continue to speak with more natives and take more classes the tutors should help me fix these.
BTW, I have tried to watch world Worlds Across but when they are together, they are laughing so much and speaking so fast- I have been unable to enjoy their content. in this video, Osmel was very easy to understand and extremely enjoyable- I was planning to watch them in the future when I understand more and want to challenge my current input- people in the real world speak like Worlds Across.

Sometimes, I turn on the subtitles or slow the speed. It helps me to understand better. Haha.
