I had this Touareg for a week, those lights were amazing, actually I've driven on the highway with the hi-beams on all the time, not a single flash from oncoming traffic that I was glazing them in any way

4 wheel steering, adaptive suspension, park assist and electromechanical anti-roll bar with 3.0L diesel 6.1s. Try this spec in a BMW, Audi or a Benz and then compare the price. Touareg will win hands down if you can all stop picking on the steering wheel and volume control!😃

Look at BMW, same steering wheel from 1 series to 5 series. Stop hating please. Just look at other brands, then try to judge.
Adi Adr But the BMW steering wheel does look good, so it’s not a bad thing they use it in the 1-5 series. But this VW steering wheel just looks bad no mather in which VW you put it in, it just looks bad in my opinion.
I see and I respect your opinion. I personally like it, its modern and good looking. I also like Arteon's R-Line steering wheel, used on Golf 7 as well.

Actually from my experience the best one of the large SUVs in the VAG Group. Drives more plush and more silent than Q8, better off-road than Q7 and far better comfort than Cayenne. Urus and Bentayga disqualify via their price😉. And in my country, on top of all the arguments, it is by far the most attractive price wise....👍
Thats because the Touareg is actually made as a propper offroader while the Audi Q series are made for the open road, this is VAG's Dakar-Rally platform for a very good reason.
Cayenne also disqualify via the price, touareg in my country starts from 51k and cayenne from 81k
But if you want to compare the exact same specs the Touareg 462hp PHEV costs 80k, the 462 hp Q7 PHEV costs 89k, the 462 hp Q8 costs 99k, the 462 hp PHEV Cayenne costs 97k, the 462 hp PHEV Cayenne coupe costs 101k and the Bentley bentayga 462 hp PHEV costs 154k

Hey Max , You told you will be back at the gearbox later in the video , but you didn't. Whats your opinion ? I know that the VW group makes the gearboxes with a bit of delay (lagg), but do you think this can be fix from the owners ? Its mega annoying. This one (Touareg) got this delay but its not too big than in the new audi s6 I think. What do you think. Thank you in advance Max. Wish to whole team of AutoTopNL a many successes !

Sir, you mentioned at the beginning of the video that you dont like the 8 speed transmission, please can you tell me why. Also since you know cars, would you choose this over X5, Q7 besides tha badge logo.
Thankfully they swapped out the steering wheels from 2021

Visited the VW last week to have a look at this Touareg, honestly am totally disappointed by interior quality, the monitor rackles, you have the Polo steering wheel, also, the seats are not comfortable enough, better to get an audi Q7 for the same price, don't understand why the author praises so much this touareg :)
