Y'know, i'm happy this whole thing was just batshit insane instead of being some horror thing. This whole game just has my humor of crack treated seriously, and the ads are just the cherry on top! Fantastic game, fantastic humor, honestly can't wait to see what else the developer has in store for us.

Stock content sometimes have a license attached to them.
You can pay the copyright author for access.
@xisselyou still have to license stock images, music, etc. Hence Shutterstock watermarks and such
@xissel Stock photos does have copyrights, that's why they require liscence for their usage.
Dude, recently I was browsing through potential historical type Chinese dramas to watch, and it literally had one of the songs from wind Waker in it. I don't think it was the channel replacing copyrighted music with it either but I could be wrong.. it was the music that plays I think inside the pirate ship. I was baffled 😂

It’s crazy how much people hate ai now a days. They treat it like Christians treat the devil, ai’s hiding under every bed, and around every corner.
Everyone at the time much preferred Siri’s voice over the older version of TTS, but now they want to go all the way back to barely understandable TTS out of fear of Ai.
I’ll admit that the Moonbase alpha style TTS has a certain nostalgia to it but it’s just an objectively worse form of TTS.

AI definitely has its uses, but people hate it mainly for the misuse of it, people hating AI for the other people that give it such a negative reputation (ie AI bros who don't want to put real, human effort into art and instead let an AI draw for them, in which the AI is mostly fueled on stolen art in order for it to have the skill to make art; corporate greed trying to get their penny-pincher hands on AI and advertise it to increase their profits; etc etc)
I do agree with OP though. Imo, all the AI voice TTS kinda sound annoying.

I tuned in mid stream and i was pretty sure there was going to be a twist where it turned creepy, but it just never happened

You know, I thought for most of the game that it would be revealed that geoffrey's so obsessed with food because he's paid so little that he can't afford much food. which would be a pretty dark turn for the game to take but that's what i was thinking the entire time

This was just plain fun (and weirdly wholesome) and I loved it. Yeah, the aliens abducted everyone, but they only want $10, and for the most part you're just making wacky TV. Not everything needs to have a "deep convoluted plot" and this proves it.

I really thought this was gonna go full horror ala Home Safety Hotline. Nope, turns out it's just a compilation of weirdly controlled minigames contained in one fever dream of a game. Felt suprisingly wholesome for some reason.

That is one of the most unique things I've ever seen, I don't even have a witty comment for it today besides the fact that we need some more *BEANS*
Theres actually another weird stock image based game called sokworlds where you basically make your own little levels with only stock images and you can explore other people's made worlds the only thing thats not great about it is that whatever system the game uses to search for the images is pretty limited and you get alot of similar images or the same ones every time
