I am from Afghanistan and have this question from Sahil sir that; “Why Taliban after 3 years have not established Zakkat system in the level of Government and they claim that we conquered Afghanistan from USA and England”. Comparing sahil with mirza is like comparing thumb with index finger. Both of them are the part of present hand that has become chapairh for the mentally sick non practical religious people whose God is just present in mosque and who are proud namazi with no understanding of philosophy of Islam

I am a student of EMAM, but I find that Sahil Adeem often rationally outclasses him. However, I believe that "babas" become "taghut" when they instruct people to abandon the true teachings of deen and follow only the parts they have introduced. On the other hand, I see sufism not as a pursuit of superhuman abilities, but as a way to connect with nature, leave materialism behind, help and love humanity and all living beings, and fight against cruelty.

While these 'babas' are committing shirk by associating themselves with Allah, they are not considered taghut. The term 'taghut' specifically refers to those who entirely reject Allah and claim divinity for themselves. If these babas had demanded worship of themselves alone, they might be seen as taghut. The problem is, while I appreciate engineer's work against shirk, he needs to realize that incorrectly labeling distorts the fundamental meanings of the Quran.

Excellent clarification in a most wonderful way. As a student of a classical madrasah of Maulana Ilyaas Ghumaan Sahab Damatay Barakathu (Ulema Deoband), I personally find Sahil Adeem making a sincere effort to bring everyone together. His critique about Ulema and Sufia is very constructive and he is very respectful and careful. Engineer Mirza, on the other hand is highly disrespectful and it won't be long before he declares himself as another "Messiah"...because he has overstepped his boundaries by disrespecting some of the Sahaba and taking the liberty to make erroneous interpretations of the Quran, Hadith and History. The gauge of sincerity is that Sahil Adeem at least is out in the public and reachable, but Mirza enjoys living in his cacoon.

اَلَمۡ تَرَ اِلَی الَّذِیۡنَ یَزۡعُمُوۡنَ اَنَّہُمۡ اٰمَنُوۡا بِمَاۤ اُنۡزِلَ اِلَیۡکَ وَ مَاۤ اُنۡزِلَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِکَ یُرِیۡدُوۡنَ اَنۡ یَّتَحَاکَمُوۡۤا اِلَی الطَّاغُوۡتِ وَ قَدۡ اُمِرُوۡۤا اَنۡ یَّکۡفُرُوۡا بِہٖ ؕ وَ یُرِیۡدُ الشَّیۡطٰنُ اَنۡ یُّضِلَّہُمۡ ضَلٰلًۢا بَعِیۡدًا ﴿۶۰﴾
کیا آپ نے انہیں نہیں دیکھا؟ جن کا دعویٰ تو یہ ہے کہ جو کچھ آپ پر اور جو کچھ آپ سے پہلے اُتارا گیا ہے اس پر ان کا ایمان ہے لیکن وہ اپنے فیصلے طاغوت کی طرف لے جانا چاہتے ہیں حالانکہ انہیں حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ طاغوت کا انکار کریں شیطان تو یہ چاہتا ہے کہ انہیں بہکا کر دور ڈال دے ۔

🌺قرآن و حدیث کی روشنی میں ۔
وَاصْبِرْ نَفْسَکَ مَعَ الَّذِيْنَ يَدْعُوْنَ رَبَّهُمْ بِالْغَدَاةِ وَ الْعَشِیِّ يُرِيْدُوْنَ وَجْهَه‘ط وَ لَا تَعْدُ عَيْنَاکَ عَنْهُمْ تُرِيۡدُ زِيۡنَةَ الۡحَيٰوةِ الدُّنۡيَا ۚ وَ لَا تُطِعۡ مَنۡ اَغۡفَلۡنَا قَلۡبَهٗ عَنۡ ذِكۡرِنَا وَاتَّبَعَ هَوٰٮهُ وَكَانَ اَمۡرُهٗ فُرُطًا ۞- الکهف، - 28
(اے میرے بندے) تو اپنے آپ کو اُن لوگوں کی سنگت میں جمائے رکھا کر جو صبح و شام اپنے ربّ کو یاد کرتے ہیں، اُس کی رضا کے طلبگار رہتے ہیں (اُس کی دِید کے متمنی اور اُس کا مکھڑا تکنے کے آرزومند رہتے ہیں) تیری (محبت اور توجہ کی) نگاہیں اُن سے نہ ہٹیں۔اور نہ کہا مان اس کا جس کا دل غافل کیا ہم نے اپنی یاد سے اور پیچھے پڑا ہوا ہے اپنی خوشی کے اور اس کا کام ہے حد پر نہ رہنا
يَوۡمَ نَدۡعُواْ ڪُلَّ أُنَاسِۭ بِإِمَـٰمِهِمۡۖ - (آلقران) بنی اسرائیل - 71
جس دن ہم ہرجماعت کو اس کےامام (پیشوا) کے ساتھ بلائیں گئے۔
وَمَن يُضْلِلْ فَلَن تَجِدَ لَهُ وَلِيّاً مُّرْشِداً - الكهف17
اور جو گمراہ ہوجائے آپ اس کا کوئی ولی اور مرشد نہیں پائیں گے۔
لَقَدْ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِذْ يُبَايِعُونَكَ تَحْتَ الشَّجَرَةِ فَعَلِمَ مَا فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ فَأَنزَلَ السَّكِينَةَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَأَثَابَهُمْ فَتْحًا قَرِيبًا - آلقران ۔ سورہ فتح ۱۸
بےشک ﷲ راضى ھوا اﻳمان والوں سے جب وه اس پیڑکے نیچے تمہاری ىبعیت کرتے تھے تو ﷲ نے جانا جو ان کے دلوں میں ھے تو ان پر اطمینان اتارا اور ان میں جلد آنے والى فتح کا انعام دیا۔
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُبَايِعُونَكَ إِنَّمَا يُبَايِعُونَ اللَّهَ يَدُ اللَّهِ فَوْقَ أَيْدِيهِمْ فَمَن نَّكَثَ فَإِنَّمَا يَنكُثُ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ وَمَنْ أَوْفَى بِمَا عَاهَدَ عَلَيْهُ اللَّهَ فَسَيُؤْتِيهِ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا - آلقران ۔ سورہ فتح ۱۰
وه جو تمہارى بیعت کرتے ہیں وه تو ﷲ ھى سے بیعت کرتے ھﻳں ان کے ھاتھوں پر ﷲ کا ھاتھ ھے تو جس نے عہد توڑا اس نے اپنے بڑے عہد کو توڑا اور جس نے پورا کیا وه عہد جو اس نے ﷲ سے کیا تھا تو بہت جلد ﷲ اسے
بڑا ثواب دے گا ۔
أَلا إِنَّ أَوْلِيَاء اللّهِ لاَ خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ - آلقران ۔ سورہ یونس ۱۰
سن لو بے شک ﷲ کے ولیوں پر نہ کچھ خوف ھے نہ کچھ غم۔
وَ لَا تُطِعْ مَنْ أَغْفَلْنَا قَلْبَهُ عَنْ ذِکْرِنَا - الکهف، - 28
اور تو اُس شخص کی اِطاعت بھی نہ کر جس کے دِل کو ہم نے اپنے ذِکر سے غافل کر دِیا ہے۔
18.Surah Al-Kahf (Verse 65)
فَوَجَدَا عَبْدًا مِّنْ عِبَادِنَا آتَيْنَاهُ رَحْمَةً مِّنْ عِندِنَا وَعَلَّمْنَاهُ مِن لَّدُنَّا عِلْمًا
(وہاں) انہوں ( حضرت مُوسیٰ ء ) نے ہمارے بندوں میں سے ایک بندہ ( حضرت خضر ء ) دیکھا جس کو ہم نے اپنے ہاں سے رحمت (یعنی نبوت یا نعمت ولایت) دی تھی اور اپنے پاس سے علم بخشا تھا
18.Surah Al-Kahf (Verse 17)
وَتَرَى الشَّمْسَ إِذَا طَلَعَت تَّزَاوَرُ عَن كَهْفِهِمْ ذَاتَ الْيَمِينِ وَإِذَا غَرَبَت تَّقْرِضُهُمْ ذَاتَ الشِّمَالِ وَهُمْ فِي فَجْوَةٍ مِّنْهُۚ ذَٰلِكَ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِۗ مَن يَهْدِ اللَّهُ فَهُوَ الْمُهْتَدِۖ وَمَن يُضْلِلْ فَلَن تَجِدَ لَهُ وَلِيًّا مُّرْشِدًا
اور جب سورج نکلے تو تم دیکھو کہ (دھوپ) ان کے غار سے داہنی طرف سمٹ جائے اور جب غروب ہو تو ان سے بائیں طرف کترا جائے اور وہ اس کے میدان میں تھے۔ یہ خدا کی نشانیوں میں سے ہیں۔ جس کو خدا ہدایت دے یا وہ ہدایت یاب ہے اور جس کو گمراہ کرے تو تم اس کے لئے کوئی دوست راہ بتانے والا ( وَلِيًّا مُّرْشِدًا ) نہ پاؤ گے
17.Surah Al-'Isrā' (Verse 71)
يَوْمَ نَدْعُو كُلَّ أُنَاسٍ بِإِمَامِهِمْۖ فَمَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ فَأُولَٰئِكَ يَقْرَءُونَ كِتَابَهُمْ وَلَا يُظْلَمُونَ فَتِيلًا
جس دن ہم سب لوگوں کو ان کے پیشواؤں ( بِإِمَامِهِمْۖ )کے ساتھ بلائیں گے۔ تو جن (کے اعمال) کی کتاب ان کے داہنے ہاتھ میں دی جائے گی وہ اپنی کتاب کو (خوش ہو ہو کر) پڑھیں گے اور ان پر دھاگے برابر بھی ظلم نہ ہوگا
31.Surah Luqmān (Verse 15)
وَإِن جَاهَدَاكَ عَلَىٰ أَن تُشْرِكَ بِي مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِ عِلْمٌ فَلَا تُطِعْهُمَاۖ وَصَاحِبْهُمَا فِي الدُّنْيَا مَعْرُوفًاۖ وَاتَّبِعْ سَبِيلَ مَنْ أَنَابَ إِلَيَّۚ ثُمَّ إِلَيَّ مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَأُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
اور اگر وہ ( والدین ) تیرے درپے ہوں کہ تو میرے ساتھ کسی ایسی چیز کو شریک کرے جس کا تجھے کچھ بھی علم نہیں تو ان کا کہا نہ ماننا۔ ہاں دنیا (کے کاموں) میں ان ( والدین ) کا اچھی طرح ساتھ دینا اور جو شخص میری ( اللہ پاک کی ) طرف رجوع لائے اس کے رستے پر چلنا ( اتَّبِعْ سَبِيلَ ، پیروی کرنا ) پھر تم کو میری طرف لوٹ کر آنا ہے۔ تو جو کام تم کرتے رہے میں سب سے تم کو آگاہ کروں گا
1.Surah Al-Fātiĥah (Verse 7)
صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ
ان لوگوں کے رستے ( پر چلنے کی توفیق دے ) جن ( لوگوں ) پر تو اپنا فضل وکرم کرتا رہا نہ ان کے جن پر غصے ہوتا رہا اور نہ گمراہوں کے

Debate is about understanding the commands of Allah,
Shirk is no doubt unforgivable sin
However some religuous scholars who are following line of Sufisim are deviating from the commands of Allah in a way that they deviate from the commands of Sunnah,
Since Allah has stated in
Quran 3:31: "Say: 'If you (really) love Allah, then follow me (i.e. Muhammad), Allah will love you and forgive you your sins.
Engr Ali has stated many Hadith from Muslim and Bukhari which are opposing sufism method of religious practices
Hence NOT only Shirk but broader term also applies to sufi people as Taghut

It seems to me that there is tremendous jihalat in this discussion of Tagut. Mr Sahil seem to be arguing that if you don't believe in Allah and only believe in some other diety then that other diety is tagut. Okay fine. Now if you believe in that other diety as well as in Allah then that other dirty is no longer tagut because you are now committing shirk. ???? That makes no sense. Any diety other than Allah is Tagut regardless of weather you are performing shirk by believing in both Allah AND Tagut or just performing kufur by believing in tagut only. Where in quran does it say that Tagut cannot be used for shirk with Allah? Conclusion: Engineer is right. Note: I am no scholar, please prove me wrong with daleel.
