Sweden is epic, love it here. For those who say "income tax is too high", I earn 2.5x the average salary. I' pay close to 45% income tax in average, but I'd be ready pay way more for the life that us Swedes enjoy. It's hard to understand if you don't live here, but if you have kids or are disabled or elderly, or just being sick or injured (I myself have had several surgeries cosing me 40$ each approx) so the just average life quality in Sweden and Scandinavia in general eases much of the stress on the population. You are never alone, whatever problem you may have (except dental)
As a doctor from Latinametica all I can say is that both Germany and Sweden sound Like great coutrys to work in. Here most of the time you work 12 hours a day plus 2 weekly 24 hours shifts that it reality are 36 hours shifts.
I moved from Sweden to Germany, I don’t regret that decision at all. Only thing I miss is the winters with snow. Here’s just cold and the lack of snow makes it dark.
Thank you very much for the information , I have a very important question, which is the surgical residency teaching quality , as you know in Germany doctors don’t get to operate after many years in residency, so they don’t develop the skills necessary to be a highly competent surgeon unfortunately , is it same in Sweden ? How is the surgery residency quality in Sweden ? Do they get to perform early in residency and take responsibilities etc ….
as a medical doctors, non eu medical graduates get job easily or it is more competitive after learning Swedish and clearing the medical licence exam ? I am an anesthetist in india, applied for Swedish language program at Lund university and subsequently want to clear medical licence exam
Hej Good job in putting efforts into the language that will definitely be your key to success in Sweden. There's a huge need for specialists in Sweden, so I think if you are already specialised and learn the language plus pass the exam you should have no problems finding a job. It's just my assumption though. Good luck!

For the medical examination.. I dont have a clue.. but if you is experient, you shall pass it.. and moste swedes speak English, and both swedish and english is germanic languages, share a lot, swedish and norweigan is the easyest language to learn for a english speaker! I belive you need to do the exam in swedish? Moste Indians I meet is eighter IT enginers or those that run a Indian resturant!
What he told, also goes for Denmark. We desperately need Doctors and Nurses. Wages are higher, but so are cost of living, so in the end it will be the same. BTW, if you are good at woodwork, you know hammer and saw. You can become a brain surgeon in Sweden 😄🤣😉. Take it easy, Swedes, Norwegians and Danes always tease each other. Like all brothers do. If you get citizenship, it is your duty to tease the two others, but not before.
You can easily move to Sweden from USA, American citizens are allowed to travel in Europe. First need to Visit Sweden find job in your study area(field).
Swedish are not unfriendly but introverts thay mind their business, thay respect your space .... If someone is not talking,you can't blame he is not friendly...okey
Nice video .. i remembered my experience working with Managers from different countries haha , i have worked with Managers from various countries ( NO OFFENSE THIS IS PERSONAL EXPERIENCE) American i encountered was workoholic , but great person he was a real manager who knew all in and out ! technical person as well Swedish as you said work but in limit , life is not just work very balance person , systematic , follow the rules NZ / AU good at attitude , follow the time , relax but expect delivery Indian Delivery Delivery Delivery , dont die before your task is complete lol Chinese :| :D as the products Rest in my experience were .. You didn't say anything about long harsh dark depressing winters. Neither about reserved society, Swedes not-so-friendly with 'others'.
