Only one biggest confusion i have is..
C & K rule is not applicable for the word Kangroo.
So the child have to learn it as it is?

I came across your video the 1st time, very nicely done, thank you mam. 🙏🏻🙂
But I personally feel, English is a very under developed language as compared to Indian languages and scripts... like you said, there are many rule breaker words and grammar that we come across all the time..
And our generation people have learnt English just as a flow, without actually learning any rules, its quite difficult for us to teach our kids with these rule set.
Just felt like sharing here 🙂
I too agree with you. Our languages are transparent and comparatively much easier to learn. The biggest advantage of phonics is that it makes a child an early reader. For the writing part, the child has to depend a lot on memory. But the problem is that most parents do not understand this part. As a result, their expectations increase and in turn, they pressure the kids to be a good reader and equally good writer.

Because it's a 2 syllable word

Nyc vedio mam.... When (@wt age) we will start to introduce blending to the kids.. My 3.6 old son not interested to learn the two letter word N blending... Bt he can write the word....N one doubt related to this vedio wt abt kangaroo..
It's an exception. Doesn't follow rules of C and K
If he is not interested then take a break and start when he is nearing 4. Generally, kids get the hang of blending at the age of near about 4. Thanks

In the words 'spicy' 'juicy' letter y is preceeded by the letter c instead k then how can I justify my son. Please clear my query
It's an exception. Like the words Korea and Kangaroos. As per rules, C should come but K comes. You can say to your child that these are exceptions. Thanks
