If they do remake these games, I hope they do the characters justice, Unlike FF7 Remake. Everyone wanted to bang Cloud. I even thought Barret was going to fall in love with him at some point.
I literally can't wait for FFIX Remake, but I also hope they come back to FFVIII after IX. It's not among my favorite FF games but it's a classic and it deserves fair treatment. Also, its OST deserves remaking. It's peak!

@DashingDavid it's coming supposedly from the leaks on twitter I'm not sure if it was midori saying it or if it was in her thread but people are already coming up with dream teams of who they want voicing people
Make nosense. Either it will be a remaster with voice acting or a remake like ff7. You can not sell any copy these day if the remake looks worse than ff7 rebirth
@@phanhuyduc2395yes you can, the art style of 9 allows it to be remade to still look great without the high fidelity of realism that they went with for 7 since advent children. I imagine something along the lines of what Overwatch looks like

As for X-3 I wouldn't count on it, at least for another 10 more years or so. The main reason being.. That they would need to do a world of the same scale than FF7 Remake, which would take a lot of time. Considering that FF7-R project started around 2015.. and came out in 2020, then part 2 in 2024 and probably part 3 around 2027.. that would be 12 years in total for a game. Unless, they've already started working on it.. or something. Dunno.
Yeah but not all of that adds up. For one the development didn’t actually take 5 years. It was in development with a different studio (Cyber Connect 2) for about 2 years. SE didn’t like how they were progressing so brought the project in house. So really it was 2017-2020. And rebirth only took about 3 since a year of development, after Remake, was spent on the DLC.
As for X-3 it depends on what it is. Visual remake or something like 7R. And the announcement of a script existing was almost 3 years ago. Plenty of time for them to have started working on the game in some way.

I’m happy for a 9 remake but also happy for it to be an update/upgrade, with voice acting, better visuals and just sole general expansion ad opposed to the remake treatment.
I know there’s a fan project demo some people released showing Vivi in Alexandria and something of that quality and style would be perfect
Hoping the new FF IX is more akin to the Trials of Mana remake albeit turned based.. Then I’m hoping for FF VI but kinda with an Octopath/Bravely Default style

Still holding onto that Tactics Remaster
The issue of FFX is the same as P4G, they got good HD remasters, but after seeing FF7R games and P3Reload, makes me wonder, despite not needing a remake urgently, seeing them in that FF7R and P3Reload light, with some QOL stuff, would be cool, though.
Imagine P4G similar with P3RELOAD but with P6 mechanics and QOL and FFX expanded like FF7R, would be dope.

My only concern is that if this will could delay the release of ff7 part 3
SE has a couple different studios. The X Remake/X-3 wouldn't be releasing until 7R project is done. The 9 remake should already be done. Point is neither should effect Remake Part 3.
Geoff is tweeting kingdom hearts stuff and its matching with games fest on the 7th and the steam games releasing on the 13th which translates to 7 lights and 13 darkness 😀 😊

Just seen on twitter that kh4 is being developed for “console devices”. So it seems like it’ll be multiplatform.
@DashingDavid well the steam versions being released had a special team for the steam deck so if there going that hard for these games multiplatform seems to definitely be a thing going forward

Yeah it’s probably the one that needs it most cause 8 has a fantastic world, story 8 characters. There’s just some things that a remake could fix or make better.

Well there’s a difference tho. We didn’t really learn anything about Zack in og FF7. Like barely anything. Whereas we do learn a decent amount amount about Jecht, Braska & obviously Auron. So I can see where people are coming from.

I don't care for Final Fantasy anymore, life is short and we all know Enix is not interested in turn based combat anymore.
I really dont want or need anymore sequels to X. X-2 was already awful enough and its very existence completely undermines the emotional payoffs of Xs ending. Just say no to X-3
Course FFX is being remade they don't want to hype that game up yet or even acknowledge it. They want to finished ff7-remake trilogy and then FF9. About a year after FF9 they will tease FFX -remake . FF8 is not getting a remake because the directors intestines fell out when he realised its to much work which is every game made. His to scared to even bother.
FF10 remake? Huh? Why? Makes zero sense. People at Square want to do FF6. FF9 is not that popular please. It has a cult following within the FF community. You didn't bring up FF Tactics Remaster that's the one a lot of folks are waiting on and we're worried that could of gotten dropped or at least on hold. Square is hurting themselves keeping it exclusive with shietty Sony. They should of done multi-release with the PC. I know they couldn't do it for the Switch since it would not fit there or they would have to seriously compromise on the graphics. I think it would be a great idea for them to have FF7 remake and rebirth as first releases on the Switch 2. I would say Xbox players could get some love too but after what Microsoft been doing smh.

@@DashingDavid You reffered to FF9 remake which only exists as part of the NVida leak which has not even been officially confirmed by Square Enix but only a confirmed leak together with FF Tactics and Kingdom Hearts 4.
This is the only way you can even make this video in the first place if not for that in conjunction with the news about Square dropping or having to hold back projects they were doing which may or may not have included FF9. FF10 was no where on the list while FF Tactics was thus why I brought it up as that along side FF9 and a Respwan title are the only ones that from the leak that has been officially announced and released.
I have no clue where this FF10 remake came from when staff want to remake FF6 while also showi9ng interest in a FF 10-3 game. Nothing about FF10 remake. Where did this come from?

FF IX is definitely coming, FF X I feel like who knows besides X3. The remake I want to see is FF VI Remake. There is an AI movie of FF VI which really blew my mind you should check it out.
