    Heard him play this programme at QEH in London in 1974,followed by Beethoven Op.31no.2 and Schubert Wanderer Fantasy in the second half!

    Musique difficile, Maurizio Pollini , avec ses ponctuations, tout en laissant un temps de respiration pour chaque note, chaque phrase ,aide à mieux comprendre et suivre cette musique avec interêt et sans ennui.

    Personally I think Drei Klavierstucke is the best one. It has the most cohesion. Its clear Schoenberg hadn't really gotten comfortable with the 12 tone system yet with Opus 25. Its still a great work though, especially the second movement!

      Ascolta, riascolta, riascolta ancora, e poi tra un mese. Poi ascolta ancora altre cose, e altre ancora. Poi ritorna su queste, magari fra 10 anni. Vedrai allora come ti passa la noia.
