Thank you for the excellent instructions. I'm making these as placecard holders for my husband's milestone birthday dinner party. (A placecard will tuck beautifully into the wide leaf of the flower.) He is so well known for his beautiful ties and I have been saving his retired ties for years. I hope to make a Christmas tree skirt out of them one of these days.

Beautiful design. Good demonstration. I like the clasp on back. I had trouble hearing your instructions. Don't know if it's my i pad or your sound set up. I'm looking forward to more of your work.

Would some fabric glue along the way work in place of stitching?

Something like hot glue might work, but normal fabric glue takes time to dry and you would have to hold it in place while it dried. 😁
