Great vid, love seeing Melodious content, hope to build this in addition to Ragnaraika! Quick note at 29:03 that you can’t activate the Couplet scale effect to add Concerto as you control a non-Melodious in Gravity Controller. I’ve found that for the Gravity Controller pivot the correct play is almost always reviving Refrain to add a Couplet. Also since you mentioned about the opponent cracking the board/recursion on the second hand, an effect I haven’t seen people emphasize about Etoile is if that she leaves the field, you can summon a Melodious from deck or extra deck, meaning you can run through all of Bacha> Refrain> Couplet> Soprano > Melodious GY add on your opponent’s turn if they move Etoile (or even make a wall appear if you sent Aria via Refrain and decide to revive it off Couplet)

5:42, the only lock you are under in the ostinato combo is not being able to activate effect of non light fairy monster, so you can still link summon S:P or I:P, but you cant go for stuff like Exceed the Pendulum into Apollousa

Just an fyi, pends in hand used for fusion go to grave not extra deck. So you have to activate them first for concerto to be able to get them back to the scales.

Nice video and congrats for the information, i just have a question: how can i replace 1st movement solo right now? i'm waiting for a reprint of that, i can't afford to spend 15 dollars per copy. Isn't there a similar alternative to kinda accomplish the same result? Thanks for the help, it would be much appreciated!

There is no 1 to 1 replacement for 1st movement solo (due to it being a 1 card starter) but you could play 1 tantan,1 poly, and a cannon as replacement for now and bump up the link to 3 and go for that more often

Cause then the effect that stops the activated effs from being negated gets negated. Thats not an activated eff so it can be negated and then imperm also negates the summon eff

it's because imperm does not directly negate the activated effect, it negates the card entirely, as opposed to cards like ash blossom, that negates specifically an activated effect
