There were lions in India, all over Eurasia for that matter. Today you can find a species of Lions called Asiatic Lion in Gir Wildlife Reserve in the state of Gujarat. These lions were hunted to extinction. But Indian Government has started conservation of the species.

There were only 15 lions left during the British raj.
Since the British sold its hide .
Now it's back to 600+ in the wild and 400 + in captivity but it's gene pool has suffered a loss it might never recover from.

The condition of these mandirs and structures is exactly the mental condition of Indians today. This is how much we respect our “rich cultural heritage” 😢

Some Indians would probably call you an "andhbhakt" for raising this issue.

Yes, you will see more motorcycles in those regions. That’s only because these people are poor and they cannot afford cars. Motorcycles take them from point A to point B.

The Badami Caves look ok, but compared to Ajanta, Ellora, it’s not that impressive. It’s still massive, you wonder how the ancients managed to carve all these way up in the rock. We have a hard time just climbing up to see it 😂 it’s out of the way in a remote area, that’s why it’s not that popular.
Anyway, Kailasa cave temple in Ellora is the best cave temple architecture in India. Ajanta also has a number of Buddhist and Jain cave temples.
Pleaser react to Praveen Mohan’s Kailasa Temple in Ellora caves - Built with Alien Technology?

Hoysaleshwara temple is the best architecture it was built 150 years after Ellora both are built by Kannadigas only… more advanced polishing and sculpting techniques were invented and used on hoysala temples
