@@UhmAhctually modern mother boards and cpu's have arrows showing exactly how to insert the cpu in place, never push down. Gravity will make it fall right into place

@@weebmaster9591 That's actually a pretty good comparison, and the more I think about it the more I see how Nvidia/AMD line up with Apple/Android. Nvidia/Apple are both the OGs and paved the way for their respective markets. But now they are delivering insanely overpriced products with less powerful hardware than their cheaper competitors. With the justification always being something along the lines of "user experience" and proprietary software that they over hype which convinces those who have no clue about hardware to go with them.
Whereas AMD/Android use open source software for a lot of their features and it continues to get better and better. They ship their products with longevity in mind. A la pumping cards with "too much VRAM". Remember 6 years ago... no one would have told you to get a rx 580 over a gtx 1060. Yet the 580 is still on shelves being bought and sold to this day. There's absolutely no one on the market for a 1060.
The 2" drop was more than enough to make me slightly recoil. That clank sounds is just irradiating dubious energy.

These stuff are cheap for the US people, but not many other part of the world. And even if they sell at lower price than their value, money is money.

@TheFather i recently bought my first PC. It's not my dream PC, but it's great. Before that, I had no money. Not everyone has like 500-600€ to spare. And getting anything cheaper may mean that you'll have to spend far too much money in the future, maybe the motherboard or case won't be compatible with a certain GPU. So it won't be worth it and you'll be better off buyin something like a ps4
