I really like how ennard seems smarter than the other entities, and is somewhat of a manipulator, which fits them perfectly according to the lore. Another thing to note is the fact that they were probably "pretending" while being asleep, which connects extraordinarily well to the game and how ennard themselves acted.

I think the reason Ennard was rusted is due to environmental damage. Golden Freddy has stayed in FNAF 1 Pizzeria so it is fine, while Ennard hasn't, so he rusted. This full body rust freezes the animatronic, so when he was cleaned, he was able to move again. And it killed Agent Wilson at sight, before even discovering he was trying to sever its arm. It finally has what it wanted: a new meat puppet. Also, Ennard still has Michael's flesh and signs of expelling Circus Baby.
You also gotta remember the fact that innard was INSIDE Michael... Blood has a very acidic reaction when in contact with metal, which is why not only did they leave Michaels body in the game because it was very decomposed, but also for the fact that in reality they would have become very rusted due to long contact with the insides of his body. Blood can cause metal to rust almost 3 times the speed that water can, due to the iron in it. Also, in theory why Michael body decomposed so fast, considering he became how he was in at least a weeks' time. Just as blood is acidic to metal, rust can be very toxic to the human body as well. tetanus being a prime example among others. Sorry to go all technical tho, I do believe that they did just kill him on site as you said. They couldn't move as a rusty boi so they waited until they were fully cleansed to act, thus... MEAT PUPPY!! Clearly, they don't learn for mistakes.
The de-rusting probably allowed him to move again, but I never understand why they only sent in one person with the animatronic after what happened with Springtrap

Interesting. Ennard seemed to have been offline for a while as if he was hibernating and remain somewhere for a certain amount of time till the Foundation found him. And if he detects anything that might be damaging him, he just gets out of that hibernation and turns on. Can't wait to see more of Ennard and what is in store for one of my favorite animatronics.
I love everytime any staff is working on interview, restoring or do anything they all will explain one by one what they doing, what they use. Its just realistic and i do enjoy that! Also daaaang that sound Ennard ripping the flesh off and all is so disgustingly satisfying.

Yeah I don't know where this came from but imagine doing this to a thought comatose person or you were sleeping and someone randomly tried to cut your arm off like even with a deadbody this would be considered desecration cause there's no way ennard gave them permission to do scientific research on him even if he's actually dead and I'm really fond of giving most AIs rights (Excluding bureaucratic ones)
Wanna know what I hate about this series the fact that they are not using tasers to at least stun the animatronics the emp sorta helps but has a huge con to it so I guess if they use tasers it could be more cheaper then using an electric bomb that turns off anything that’s uses electricity
