Your pooch seemed to know that gate was a good sign! Welcome home.
Totally Agree! 👍
Changed probably 1,000s of fuel filters on my trucks. Hand tight buddy! Little oil off the dipstick on the filter rubber. Tighten as hard as you can by hand then back it of a hair. Start the truck no leaks good to go... You probably destroy the old filter trying to get it off tightening in with a wrench as tight as you did??? Having tightened it by hand you most likely will need a wrench to remove it. They some how self tighten. Why the oil on the rubber it also helps to seal the filter. But I like you truck and your show. I'm in a senior home. But lived my life out on the big road. Now I watch guys like you on RUclips and wish I could still be a owner operator. But I'm almost ready for the bone yard.. Hope I didn't piss you off with my advice. I'm sure you know what I mean?
Hard to stay Positive but your Puppy Dog can Always put a Smile on your and our Faces. She’s Beautiful. 👍🙏
Can-Am started in Canada building Bombardier Snowmobiles, then they started building all-terrain motorcycles (trail bikes) which did very well. Then they morphed into building all-terrain vehicles which are also doing well.
that Cat engine purrs like a kitten. sounds so good!!
Dan Dan the professional flat deck man. Dan your videos never show your having a bad day week or month. Your what real trucking is all about. A lot of wannabes out there. I am sorry to hear is a bit of a tuff go out there. Guys like you work so hard and get home every once in awhile. You are at work 24 hours a day for up to 60 days or even more. I take my hat off to ya Dan. You could sit and eat at my table any day. You have a great and a safe day, happy trails and happy motoring.
Happy new year Dan. All the best to you and your family. Its nice to see another video again! You are an inspiration! Wishing you a healthy and prosperous new year. Mabe you can make it to the yard and get them handles. Lol.
First of all hello to the Mrs. Mr Dan nothing wrong with a little RXR every now then. To you and your family have a blessed 23,24,25 and so on 🚛💨💨💨💨
Great maintenance work Dan. Reminds me of the days working in a Army maintenance shop
My Dad was a trucker for a number of years. I am not but enjoy your videos, your positive outlook, and the professional way you represent the profession. Please keep it up! Things will get better.
When u dropped that filter I felt it in my bones. I was cussing for you. Man those filters are frustrating
You always know it is done right ... When you do it yourself. Happy New and Prosperous Year Dan.
Bailey seems to be happy to be home, we all know that feeling
Wishing you a Safe, Healthy and Happy New Year. 👍
Love the view from your place. So peaceful and quiet.
Glad to have you back!!
Thank you for making personal sacrifices to keep things "rolling" in the usa!
You Da Man Dan!! Not many drivers carry jacks to work on tires
Safe travels Dan, I once knew a girl from Paducah. Long story ✌️
Super trucker Dan haven’t heard from you. I hope everything’s OK. Haven’t seen any of your videos lately. I hope you and Bailey are OK and your wife Tresa just to check make sure y’all are OK.
Time to clean your camera lenses Dan
Yeah got to love the messy one I just don't fill it as full and cycle the key a time then fire it up works for my truck
Glad you got some well-deserved time at home with Teresa. Always good to get new videos from you Dan. Here's to a year of good freight and safe trips!
I remember 40yrs ago it felt like I spent more time underneath the damn truck than in it. But that’s the way it was. I couldn’t afford going into a repair garage for anything. I was grateful old Grandad had a farm back then.
Awesome video👍👍👍
Welcome to the New Year. Be safe on the road.
Workin on the truck vids. Best ones Dan 🤙
I will suggest you getting 1 of those accordion fill hoses you get with the DEF boxes, it will fit perfectly on that bottle you use and you can fill the filter while it's behind the chassis!
We are back in Canada after spending time with our daughter and her family in Oklahoma. I thought of you after spending time on the interstate and toll highways. Every time a semi was seen, yes I thought of your great work. Family time is so important and and it is great that you spent time with Teresa over the holidays. We appreciate your videos. Thank you. HNY 😊
Gotta love them hood trucks……everything is soooo much easier to get to and so much more pleasant to repair

Happy New Year and stay safe...
That's a beautiful view you've got there. Glad to see you getting to enjoy it!
Happy New Year to you and your family from Auckland NZ. Hope you have an awesome year.
When I used to change the primer filter I would go under the spring behind the frame and made less of a mess
That's where the money is, when ya can do your own work, money in your pocket and knowing it's done right.
Sorry Dan, I need to make an edit. I go under the spring and then grab in between the spring and the bottom of the frame then with the other hand grab it on the top side of the frame.
Happy New Year Dan,glad to see you had some nice home time with the family, nice to see how you take care of your equipment,be safe out there,..HI,BAILEY!!
Daniel, from someone who has seen your videos at least twice, I just noticed how tall those trees beside your house have grown…..
Nothing like an ATV load to get the year started and back in the groove
Hi there Dan.
A happy new year to you and your family.
May 2023 be a good year for you and may you drive millions of safe miles
Thanks Dan, Good to hear you got some down with your wife Teresa. Hope things get better in 2023, but If I were you the challenges ahead, you might want to get more aggressive in your load findings out there and let Katie know your game plan for this year.
I hear where I work the honeymoon is over and the wedding cake is getting flattened...if you more experienced folks know what I mean....so expect to hear the markets belt tightening again!
Great to see you’re back Dan. Safe travels in 2023

They put chicken fat from processing plants into diesel that's why it clogs up I was talking to a retired Exxon refinery worker he said they've been doing that for a long time
I just looked at your Facebook page to see if you were out on the road again
Thanks for watching
Happy New Year ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Happy New Year from cold Russia :)
Would like to have seen the tool you used to remove the lug nuts. Another enjoyable video, thanks.
I go up under the frame rail with my hand under the filter and the filter perpendicular to the ground, I lift up and grab the top of the filter with my other hand then lift the rest of the way and screw it on. I never spill a drop.
Curious as to why you didn’t change at home? Now we know, you’re new nickname is drip pan,,,lol Safe Travels!
Happy New Years to You and Teresa and Bailey! Prayers for Safe and Blessed travels for the year ahead! 🙏 🙏

Please explain a greaseless aluminum fifth wheel I'm all for it
HAPPY New YEAR DAN an to your WIFE , Very nice home you have Looking good ,
truck and trailer looking good , always something to do ,
To stop the diesel spilling out of your filters , What I done , I carry a gallon jug with a small rubber hose on it , I would start the filter about a turn and then I put the rubber hose in the filter and fill it up while it was on the truck , and then tighten it up ,
little bailey getting fat 😂
be safe take care yourselves DAN
Hey Dan, if you ever get a load to Edwardsburg, MI. I am 5 minutes from there. Holler at me and I’ll buy you lunch! Happy New Year to you and Bailey!

I notice you have dual gas tanks. Could you use one tank for water and do your own power washing on the road?

I can't remember it's been over 15 years since I lived in US, in UK pumps are heavily filtered 3 large one,to each pump, are the pumps filtered in US, because filters should last ages on trucks
Nice one Dan.

Thanks Dan
Glad to see you back, hope you had a good Christmas and Happy New Year. You continue to stay safe and look forward to your up and coming videos.
merry Christmas and happy new year from Sweden
Dude, that is too tight for the filters. Think of it like an oil filter tightness. Snug and just a bit more like a quarter turn.
You realize Dan has been trucking for over 20yrs and has owned a handful of trucks in that time frame? The first truck he owned was a cabover
Nice to see you back Dan. Happy New Year. Cheers mate.
Just curious, how many miles do you get out of your fuel filters?
Always enjoy your videos
