I'm Canadian and I lived in Sweden...I saw these things fly over my head and I must say..regardless of the criticism, it's one of the best out there...it's a versatile aircraft that has great maneuverability. It's an all around jet and fy fan, Sverige ar skit kul...skal. Cheers from Canada and thx for makign a sweet jet like this.
I think it´s the best there are right now. Small, agile, extremly fast turnaround, really hard to hit and with a really small radarsignature. The Demo/NG with 25% increased power will be amazing! I just wish SwAF will lift the regulations so we can fly it the way it really could be flown.
TacairstationHQ, no this is a normal operational 39C. The Hungarian and Czech displays (very agressive and good!) is with some new moves the Swedish display pilots normally don't do. Former MIG-pilots et al.
@signatoryvideos Oh, you mean this model, I thought you was comparing it with Rafale and Eurofighter, and if I got something wrong I don't mind you tell me what. Anyway, this is one of the best videos of gripen that I found again thanks to your reply. I love to see it, even if I miss the sound from viggen.
@ytbabbler , The JAS39C type. IT's different from the A, B, D. And the Demonstator. The rest of your comment is not really accurate but why bother going into a debate here.
@signatoryvideos "for this airplane type" what other planes is of the same type then? Do you know any planes that look like gripen, that has an unstable design so only computers can hold the nose forward, can change to another functional rule just by pressing a button. (tree planes in one)
(Eh by that I meant, this more agressive flying is not "something new" for this airplane type.. depends much on the pilot. Not sure what Swede is behind the stick on this one.)

He did not lay pressure on the jet fighter. Off course it can turn much faster. The best fighter in the world for the money....
what countries are planning on buying the gripen aircraft?

And it can also fly extremely slow.
it was too close... on airshow in croatia
no one does 10g minimum radius turns all the time=_=
Not the best that it can do
You are sad
