Thank you for your content, Sophie. I personally think you are very sensitive towards people with eating disorders. What you state in your videos is clearly one perspective and not an advisory. Personally, I don't understand the issue around your video regarding UPF. Love your content ❤

It would be great to get your thoughts on some of the feedback on your last UPF video - I know I left quite a long comment, as I personally disagree with a lot of the messaging around it / find the way people talk about it quite triggering! Totally understand it’s your choice, your money and your family, and I certainly don’t judge you (or anyone!) for it - but it do hope content creators factor in their influence, especially if they know they might have some vulnerable followers 😊
EDIT: As acknowledged previously, my triggers are 100% my responsibility and I don’t expect others to “police” their content accordingly. I just know Sophie has mentioned having come from a similar background, and know that her audience comprises quite of few of us in recovery; UPF are an incredibly nuanced topic - far more so than currently represented in the media - and I personally believe this is worth exploring :)
@@diddlyempress Hi! Perhaps I didn’t express myself clearly enough in my original comment, but I’m certainly not saying Sophie (or anyone, for that matter) needs to police their content for viewers. I also have acknowledged multiple times, across my previous comments, that my triggers are my responsibility, and that everyone is entitled to live their life as they please. I don’t think any part of my comment today prompted Sophie to “take up less space”. I was simply acknowledging that this is a difficult, nuanced topic - and as Sophie pointed out, she had loads of feedback in her last video (positive AND constructive!), so it would be wonderful to get her insights. Her channel has historically been a safe space for those of us in recovery or with difficult relationships with food, and I believe she knows this; I was only highlighting this audience, and sharing my point of view. Hope that clarified :)
