I agree with you on the lull, i have never seen so many empty pegs in my life, but I recently started collecting the NECA Alien and Predator figures and they are actually pretty awesome, so I DO have something to search for now
I will say Neca does a decent job on Aliens and Predator in their sections. Thats def the best line to be able to find for the most part. Not always, but alot of the time!!
@ 22:04. You should get the MOTU Origins Sky Sled. I heard that Mattel may lose the MOTU Toy license in 2023, not sure how long the Origins line will be available.
These hunts are great! No matter what you find it’s great! Now I believe those MOTU WWE are Walmart exclusive and I can’t wait to see the review on the Krang. You should put a VCR filter over the video like it is 1990 haha.
27:52 no love for Jet Jaguar what a shame. For those that don’t like the Playmate’s Godzilla toys, they knocked it out the park on Jet Jaguar. This is Target’s first for Playmates Godzilla figures.
I wasn't that interested in the Sky Sled either until I saw that you can change out parts to make it for good or evil. Now I kind of want to get another one.

found a couple of Flocked Panthor w/ re-stock of 4 BCs in wal-mart today..just opened it up, & its fantastic, the fur definitely made it less plasticky, & toyish & added weight to the figure, so it feels like motuc..the white spots you'd see are permanent, they don't fade like what I thought when you run through fur,.didnt bother me, & both had spots anyway, but if you can choose the better one...good luck y'all.
@@ManCaveCollectibleReviews 37:32 the plastic china made dinosaurs reminded me of the other day when my family went hiking in our woods and my wife found one of those plastic dinosaurs sticking out of the mud from my childhood. I use to play with my toys in the creek and I lost that one, and 30 years later we found it. I washed it off and it looks brand new again. Those things are indestructible. That's probably my most interesting toy hunt yet and I wasn't even hunting lol
I really enjoy your hunting! Where I Iive, up north, Toy Hunting is damn'd hard. Not a lot of stores, and the distribution always seems weeks behind most other folks. So, since my own Toy Hunting attempts are pretty lame (I have to buy most stuff off the internet)--I'm living vicariously through you!

The Headmasters are $20 retail. They are cool but do kinda have the hollow leg problem that some of the older ones had. They do blind in well with the War for Cybertron and Studio Series figs though.
For MOTU Origins what is starting to show up is Castle Grayskull (mostly at Walmart), Landshark (online), the Keldor and Kronos 2 pack that is exclusive to Target. Unfortunately WWE MOTU is exclusive to Walmart.
Dude at 27:51 that was a Bandai jet Jaguar figure it’s going for like $300 around the world you shouldn’t have passed on it. I’m shocked a store even had one
I went to a local vintage shop here in the Cincinnati/Kentucky border and picked up three of the retro Marvel 3.75 carded toys by Kenner and they were all unpunched! Got Iron man, Black Panther with the alternate card back and Captain America. I let the guy know I'm looking for Spider Man still and he's gonna hit me up when he gets it back in stock, I know I had brought those figures up on your last videos.
Same boat as you! The only thing I'm looking for is the TMNT 4 pack. No luck this weekend. For those classic Power Rangers, the wave only consists of Red, Black and Blue if I remember correctly. Hopefully there's a wave 2 in the horizon. Great pick-ups with turtles stuff and the NECA Shredder!
I just hope Mattel doesn’t hurt their sales numbers by restocking wave 1 over and over again. I hope the numbers stay good so the line doesn’t get discontinued. I got lucky and found Trap Jaw, Scareglow, and Man-E-Faces at Walmart right as they hit the pegs. I had to finish wave two by finding Orko at a flea market. I hope the line does well enough to continue.
Me too. I can def say that waves 2-4 don’t stay on a leg longer than a few hours. Lol. But I don’t know what they are doing with wave 1. That Trap Jaw wave was 🔥🔥🔥. Best wave so far I think.
I love the 2002 TMNT line. You're making me want to get a few more of them. I think they have more personality than the 2012 TMNT line. Selling off my 2012 TMNT's to make room for more 2003 & NECA TMNT figures. But it's hard lately finding "vintage" toys at decent prices lately anywhere. Prices have shot way up on what seems like everything - even Go-Bots! I have both NECA Super Shredders and decided to keep both. I still need the 6 inch NECA TMNT Turtles tho. I can't find them at any Walmart. Bummer.

Really awesome video as always. I found the Stealth Super Shredder this week. Couldn’t help myself and picked it up. It’s a shame that the there was no Ratchet available to help that leg less Soundwave. Maybe he can hang in there until the next wave gets released.
Another great toy hunt! I just picked up a Firestar from a gamestop here in WI, definitely recommend! I don't know which ones I had but I distinctly remember having at least one of those 2002 Playmates Turtles when I was a kid, mainly because I definitely had some of those yin & yang shuriken accessories laying around hahaha. I'm not super into TMNT these days, but if I had to rank I think I'd go Raph > Mike > Leo > Don

Cool video. Just FYI, you said that there was only one wave of the 2002 TMNT, that's not quite right. There were many other waves including the obligatory Gimmick turtles. They releases Casey with a removable mask, April came with a couple mousers, Shredder with a removable helmet. It was a great line.

Even though I only collect Legends I really enjoy your videos. For me I'm waiting for the upcoming Classic Iron Man wave of Legends followed by the Disney + waves. Been tempted lately with the wrestling figures but that seems too expensive to get into, and also GI Joe Classified, love the sculpts so much.
I love the new Iron Man from the Hyde wave. Def picking that one up!!! He will replace my 80th Iron Man on my Legends avengers shelf! U going for the whole wave?

I have the Hyde wave Tony and Shang Chi on pre-order, not sure about the rest of the wave. The Death Dealer looks cool.

Yeah, I've seen a lot of empty shelves lately! Mostly at Walmart--Target seems to be getting better. Not for exclusives, of course! I spent several hours this Saturday hunting both stores for the 4-pack and Stern crate, but no luck. I work for Stern Pinball and I worked on the TMNT machine, so I really want to get that one as a commemorative piece! Gotta keep at it... :D Anyhoo, loving the toy hunts, sir!

Myself personally I'm into the McFarlane Dc figs. I collect legends to but JMO the McFarlane are better. But I am a DC guy. I do the motu stuff also but it's just So hit and miss. If u find them the cards are jacked up 🤣. Cool vid bro👍

Thanks to your video I’ll be heading down to Cherryville Tuesday to pick up that April and Foot 2 pack. I haven’t been able to find her at all in store. A little story for you on the Turtles 4 pack. During my hunt this past week looking for a set for myself I visited one of my local Targets. I didn’t see any on the shelf so I decided to ask the electronics girl, I usually never do this by the way due to them getting aggravated. I told her what I was looking for and showed her a picture, she says you’re to late we’ve sold out. I said ok, and was getting ready to walk away, when she tells me a fellow coworker had bought all 3 sets and had sold them on eBay for $300.00 a piece!!! I can’t tell you how bad that infuriated me...like I had my suspensions about that but never really believed it. We as collectors stand no chance with that type of stuff going on, to top it off I only have 2 Targets in my area without driving an hour out of my way. Luckily I did score a set and still can’t honestly believe it. I consider myself lucky as I never saw the April or Casey pack in store. I went to Target in Gastonia yesterday morning around 10 and actually ran into the NECA rep. He said he had boxes in the back and was going to be stocking the shelves, he allowed me to look through the boxes and no TMNT at all. He said he hadn’t seen any TMNT related items in over 2 months! Idk what’s going on but it sure is making life difficult to get them. I wish you the best of luck and I’ll definitely keep an eye out for you and gladly pick you up a set if I run across another. I wouldn’t want any extra money for it either, just retail cost.
Dang dude, thats rough on the Target employee. We've def all heard stories but thats the first time Ive heard it first hand. Your right also, we can never win out over employees grabbing them up before they even hit shelves. Not sure how to fix it though. Its such a large scale issue, there's just really no good answer for it. And tell Retro that ManCave sent ya!! LOL. Hey brotha just watched your video I’m a fan... if your still looking for plastic covers for your figures check out a dollar store look for the Christmas section for the tree ornament balls sometimes they come in clear plastic boxes there good not perfect but good for figures👍🏼👍🏼.. Great video as always, recently watched your videos with zack legend and zac jac Dan, really enjoyed that. I follow them as well but haven’t had the time to watch something that long. But toy wise Flint and Lady Jaye, also found motu origins wave 4 at Target. But still haven’t come across a ninja turtles box set. But asides that not much I’m looking for. picked up Shao Kahn, Scorpion, and Subzero from McFarlane. There pretty good. Idk if I’m sold yet on them, the Shao Kahn’s amazing the other two are ok.

Man, that Masters of the W Undertaker was rad ! We don´t get those here....but that is so cool, is like to of my fave things in childhood clashing togheter andd I am like yourself, like the figures I pick I only ick the ones that mean something to me, I don´t get all the figures from one wave or so. About the Motu origins waves coming and going (Now I know the tersm thanks to you lol ). Here in Spain is the same thing, you can find Skeletors and He-Mans everywhere in huge amounts ( Evil Lyn´s too) but the second another thing other tha arrives is desappears. The Scare Glows came and went in a couple of days and Orkos too. By the way, the Orko is prrety cool, it comes with a purple base stand in so you can put it to make it look it´s floating. I highly recommend you getting one.

It’s crazy how people swap items like that. I’m not going to lie. I wanted the blue nightwing and red hood but not the red nightwing and I thought about switching nightwings but couldn’t because of how I would feel if I got it wanting blue and got red you know let alone buying a $20 fig and it replaced with a $5 one. Let alone doing that to a kid. My Conscience won’t let me. Then karma came and I found red hood at Walgreens for $5 and bought blue nightwing anyways.

Masters of the WWE are exclusive to Walmart. Wave 1&2 were easy to find at first. Wave 3 and up are extremely hard to find. I really want Mr. T, I did found Rowdy Pipper. Next wave I am looking forward for, Andre & Slaughter. I say get the Sky Sled, they might be gone soon. Might be the only way to get Adam. It comes with extra pieces to change the sled for Skeletor’s crew. I feel the toy hunt has slowed down, even though there are a lot I have been not able to get. I have learn if I don’t have the money, in between pay checks, and I want something, I need to get it. The chance of seeing it again will be 10% the next week. I have “let” these go in the past and regret it. My GameStop has lowered their quantity of toys. Not sure why. I wish I can go to small toy shops. Other than the rumored one in Denver, does anyone know of any southern Wyoming and northern Colorado?

It is only at Walmart and after wave 3 it seems my local stores only get one case per store and it's hard to find them, if you have Big Lots around check them out for the first wrestling ring they came out with, it's got Cena and Triple H with the ring
Now we know were all the new toys at Walmart and retail stores go. I do my toy run twice a week, because I refuse to pay more for a recent release product out of economics of scale. If I cannot find it in the wild then it is not meant to be. Toys are already expensive as retail price and paying anything in addition, unless a holy grail in special occasion, it makes no economic sense.
People really go into Walmart and just destroy the place and some merchandise. The videos are all over RUclips and as evident by this video and the broken merchandise on the pegs. What is wrong with people these days?

I just hope Mattel doesn’t hurt their sales numbers by restocking wave 1 over and over again. I hope the numbers stay good so the line doesn’t get discontinued. I got lucky and found Trap Jaw, Scareglow, and Man-E-Faces at Walmart right as they hit the pegs. I had to finish wave two by finding Orko at a flea market. I hope the line does well enough to continue.
Me too. I can def say that waves 2-4 don’t stay on a leg longer than a few hours. Lol. But I don’t know what they are doing with wave 1. That Trap Jaw wave was 🔥🔥🔥. Best wave so far I think.
I love the 2002 TMNT line. You're making me want to get a few more of them. I think they have more personality than the 2012 TMNT line. Selling off my 2012 TMNT's to make room for more 2003 & NECA TMNT figures. But it's hard lately finding "vintage" toys at decent prices lately anywhere. Prices have shot way up on what seems like everything - even Go-Bots! I have both NECA Super Shredders and decided to keep both. I still need the 6 inch NECA TMNT Turtles tho. I can't find them at any Walmart. Bummer.
I totally with ya on vintage. Worst time in the world to be buying vintage stuff. Everything cycles though so at some point, it will level back off.

Really awesome video as always. I found the Stealth Super Shredder this week. Couldn’t help myself and picked it up. It’s a shame that the there was no Ratchet available to help that leg less Soundwave. Maybe he can hang in there until the next wave gets released.

I don't know which ones I had but I distinctly remember having at least one of those 2002 Playmates Turtles when I was a kid, mainly because I definitely had some of those yin & yang shuriken accessories laying around hahaha. I'm not super into TMNT these days, but if I had to rank I think I'd go Raph > Mike > Leo > Don

Cool video. Just FYI, you said that there was only one wave of the 2002 TMNT, that's not quite right. There were many other waves including the obligatory Gimmick turtles. They releases Casey with a removable mask, April came with a couple mousers, Shredder with a removable helmet. It was a great line.

Even though I only collect Legends I really enjoy your videos. For me I'm waiting for the upcoming Classic Iron Man wave of Legends followed by the Disney + waves. Been tempted lately with the wrestling figures but that seems too expensive to get into, and also GI Joe Classified, love the sculpts so much.

Yeah, I've seen a lot of empty shelves lately! Mostly at Walmart--Target seems to be getting better. Not for exclusives, of course! I spent several hours this Saturday hunting both stores for the 4-pack and Stern crate, but no luck. I work for Stern Pinball and I worked on the TMNT machine, so I really want to get that one as a commemorative piece! Gotta keep at it... :D Anyhoo, loving the toy hunts, sir!

Awesome haul as always buddy! If you want to expand on the 2002 Turtle line I suggest picking up Hun, Jimmy has him as I seen him yesterday. Thanks to your video I’ll be heading down to Cherryville Tuesday to pick up that April and Foot 2 pack. I haven’t been able to find her at all in store. A little story for you on the Turtles 4 pack. During my hunt this past week looking for a set for myself I visited one of my local Targets. I didn’t see any on the shelf so I decided to ask the electronics girl, I usually never do this by the way due to them getting aggravated. I told her what I was looking for and showed her a picture, she says you’re to late we’ve sold out. I said ok, and was getting ready to walk away, when she tells me a fellow coworker had bought all 3 sets and had sold them on eBay for $300.00 a piece!!! I can’t tell you how bad that infuriated me...like I had my suspensions about that but never really believed it.
We as collectors stand no chance with that type of stuff going on, to top it off I only have 2 Targets in my area without driving an hour out of my way. Luckily I did score a set and still can’t honestly believe it. I consider myself lucky as I never saw the April or Casey pack in store. I went to Target in Gastonia yesterday morning around 10 and actually ran into the NECA rep. He said he had boxes in the back and was going to be stocking the shelves, he allowed me to look through the boxes and no TMNT at all. He said he hadn’t seen any TMNT related items in over 2 months! Idk what’s going on but it sure is making life difficult to get them. I wish you the best of luck and I’ll definitely keep an eye out for you and gladly pick you up a set if I run across another. I wouldn’t want any extra money for it either, just retail cost.
Dang dude, thats rough on the Target employee. We've def all heard stories but thats the first time Ive heard it first hand. Your right also, we can never win out over employees grabbing them up before they even hit shelves. Not sure how to fix it though. Its such a large scale issue, there's just really no good answer for it. And tell Retro that ManCave sent ya!! LOL. Great video as always, recently watched your videos with zack legend and zac jac Dan, really enjoyed that. I follow them as well but haven’t had the time to watch something that long. But toy wise Flint and Lady Jaye, also found motu origins wave 4 at Target. But still haven’t come across a ninja turtles box set. But asides that not much I’m looking for. picked up Shao Kahn, Scorpion, and Subzero from McFarlane. There pretty good. Idk if I’m sold yet on them, the Shao Kahn’s amazing the other two are ok.

Man, that Masters of the W Undertaker was rad ! We don´t get those here....but that is so cool, is like to of my fave things in childhood clashing togheter andd I am like yourself, like the figures I pick I only ick the ones that mean something to me, I don´t get all the figures from one wave or so. About the Motu origins waves coming and going (Now I know the tersm thanks to you lol ). Here in Spain is the same thing, you can find Skeletors and He-Mans everywhere in huge amounts ( Evil Lyn´s too) but the second another thing other tha arrives is desappears. The Scare Glows came and went in a couple of days and Orkos too. By the way, the Orko is prrety cool, it comes with a purple base stand in so you can put it to make it look it´s floating. I highly recommend you getting one.

It’s crazy how people swap items like that. I’m not going to lie. I wanted the blue nightwing and red hood but not the red nightwing and I thought about switching nightwings but couldn’t because of how I would feel if I got it wanting blue and got red you know let alone buying a $20 fig and it replaced with a $5 one. Let alone doing that to a kid. My Conscience won’t let me. Then karma came and I found red hood at Walgreens for $5 and bought blue nightwing anyways.

Masters of the WWE are exclusive to Walmart. Wave 1&2 were easy to find at first. Wave 3 and up are extremely hard to find. I really want Mr. T, I did found Rowdy Pipper. Next wave I am looking forward for, Andre & Slaughter.
I say get the Sky Sled, they might be gone soon. Might be the only way to get Adam. It comes with extra pieces to change the sled for Skeletor’s crew.
I feel the toy hunt has slowed down, even though there are a lot I have been not able to get. I have learn if I don’t have the money, in between pay checks, and I want something, I need to get it. The chance of seeing it again will be 10% the next week. I have “let” these go in the past and regret it.

It is only at Walmart and after wave 3 it seems my local stores only get one case per store and it's hard to find them, if you have Big Lots around check them out for the first wrestling ring they came out with, it's got Cena and Triple H with the ring

Now we know were all the new toys at Walmart and retail stores go. I do my toy run twice a week, because I refuse to pay more for a recent release product out of economics of scale. If I cannot find it in the wild then it is not meant to be. Toys are already expensive as retail price and paying anything in addition, unless a holy grail in special occasion, it makes no economic sense.
