White fakra (type B) = 2 antenas for ur FM and AM radio (FM and AM share the first antena, while the second is for second FM tuner inside ur radio) (one on each side of the car) Green fakra (type E) = DAB (if in Europe) Black fakra = SAT (also called Sirius) (if in the US) The light blue fakra u got with ur aftermarket unit is type Z, it plugs in every fakra type) Fakra is a very common type of antena connector used on VW cars (and a lot of others)
truly appreciate your videos...I bought the vwa12s-6g and just installed it yesterday on my mk6 GTI and we had the same factory Delphi radio. I don't have the HVAC things visible on my factory head unit and wouldn't expect top on the new one. But was seems to not work for me is the steering wheel controls. They just don't at all and I can't figure it out. Also, the compass in the main dash console glitches out and entirely disappears, but when it's there it seems accurate. I have tried calibrating per the instructions but no dice I am not worried about the compass but I am super perplexed about the steering wheel controls. Any thoughts about what that may be? Also, did you end up plugging that other fakra, the green one, into anything? I know in Europ it's the DAB stuff but not here in the states.
Hey, if you have an aftermarket head unit you can just connect it to any of the usbs in the back : a.co/d/04qCsnPC . Otherwise this was the other kit I had but looks like it’s no longer available at ECS unfortunately: www.ecstuning.com/b-double-apex-parts/usb-charger-kit-with-quick-charge-technology/usb01a1~dax/
Hello my friend the q53pro screen is glass or capacitive? I'm going to buy one in the end of the month and i won't to know. Special thnks for the video
I am not totally sure, I can ask. However they did make an updated version of the Q53, I have a video up for it as well has android 13 definitely would recommend that one instead. www.ebay.com/itm/204601371878?mkevt=1&mkcid=2&mkrid=7111690252637661&keyword=US_youtube_VWA13_DradDorfler

Its just prefrence bro EONON makes great head units for Volkswagen upgrades. Had one on my mk5 GTI that looked OEM (Eonon GA7153A) . I own a mk6 GTI now and just put a RDC330 in it because i like going for the OEM look on trim. While this headunit is great bigger screen & more features its stands out as flashy and aftermarket. So Customers Preference :)
Nice video 👍 Im having issues with incoming calls Im using the mic that came with the unit Is there a way of improving incoming calls I hear the recieving calls great but thwy say from my side it sounds tinny and low Cheers 👍
Nope, mine worked right away, would check connections, or try radio or another sound source and see if you can get anything started. If not reach out to them.
Also would check fuses sounds like some wired might have touched that weren’t supposed to, I’m not sure how that could have happened exactly but feel free to update me if you figure it out!

Does it work with the stock microphone from vw? I already have one and i would like to be able to use that one
Thank you
i’ve got no power to the head unit any idea what could have caused this?
I have the same it's great but I don't like the interface
How is it holding up? Is the wireless carplay/android still solid?

This works with dynaudio? And do those USB’s have to stick out for the CarPlay or is it wireless? Thank you!
Wireless I just had to hook up to the head unit the one time Bluetooth and then it’s been auto CarPlay for me
Still recommend having access to at least one available if you have an issue that you can plug it in for quick access

May have to move the mic closer or turn up the sensitivity of the mic in the settings
What is this brand all about? Never heard of it ...
Check out their website, they have a lot of head units universal and specific. Been good to me so far
Do you know if it work with the oem reverse cam
Yep there is a separate box/ adapter that it comes with to plug that in
Have you had any audio issues? I’m pulling out my hair trying to figure it out

does this work with the car parking sensors?
I don’t have those on my car but I would assume so with it being on the CAN BUS
Yes it does, I have the Q53 pro.
