I am French but I lived one year in Prague and it is definitely my favorite city in the world! Enjoy Prague but explore other places, Czech Republic is such a beautiful country and has so many other hidden gems!
You both are so kind to share your Christmas Day with us. I love watching you all so much. Your little baby will be so blessed to have parents like you. Can't wait to see more.
I spent Christmas in Prague on a family holiday in 2013, it was really nice. We bought turkey roll and pudding from Marks and Spencers at Wenceslas Square and made custard in the kitchen of our air BNB. In the afternoon we went for a walk and fed the swans on the river.
It's so heartwarming to watch all your travel videos from before the pandemic knowing that HUNTER is now almost 2 years old... I can't wait for Hunter to grow up and see the world with you guys!!! She's gonna be such a great traveller and will DEFINITELY also have the same appreciation for other countries' culture and history just like her parents~
Try knedliky houskove. "Prague is not the Czech Republic."Visit other places outside the capital - it's worth it. Kutná Hora, Český Krumlov, Hluboká castle, Karlstein castle, Adršpach, Broumov, Lednice, Mikulov and many other towns .
I went to Prague in 2019, early January. It was so magical. It was my first time traveling outside of the US and I went by myself. I got an apartment right next to the city center where you got the chimney cakes and I absolutely fell in love with it all. One thing I wish I didn't do was drive into Prague, as beautiful as it was driving from Berlin to there. Storing a car there is incredibly expensive and driving is nearly impossible, as I am accustomed to wide open streets and highways in the US. I was in a constant state of anxiety driving through narrow cobble roads with an inch of clearance on either side in a $100k Mercedes rental. All that being said, one of the fondest memories I have is walking through the old city with a cup of hot "Christmas wine" (not sure what its actually called, but it tastes like Christmas). It was like being in a movie or a good book.
Czech Republic has much more to offer than just Prague. Your should plan a roadtrip here some day. South Moravia with its wine, culture and amazing castles is amazing for example. Greetings from Brno, 2nd largest city in CZE :)
I've been to Brno and I quite enjoyed it. It's definitely not as exciting as prague but prices are way way lower especially for northern Europeans it's like heaven haha and it does have some very nice spots. Plus it's not overcrowded by tourists. I've also been to a stalactite cave close to Brno which was one of the most fascinating experiences of my life :)
Awesome, I'm super glad you uys enjoyed your Christmas in Prague!! I am from Poprad - Slovakia (30 minutes from where you visited!) and now living in Prague and I love to see a foreigner's perspective on these places I love. Enjoy the holidays and have a Happy New Year :)
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL TOO !!!!! I love Prague too. I was there in 1999 for a week just before Christmas and it was snowing, everything was covered and it was magical ! ! The Christmas markets were awesome and I bought most of my presents there that year. Loved that your parents were there too. Hope all is going well with the baby too ... Happy New Year when it comes too xxxxxxxxxxxx
Wishing you all (including your future baby), A Very Happy New Year. May it be Happy, Peaceful, Prosperous and Healthy for you all. Loads of Love from Dublin, Ireland.
I really love watching your videos, it is like taking a trip without having to spend money. Since we cannot afford to travel right now, we enjoy seeing the beautiful countries and the buildings,etc... Congratulations on the new little one to come!
Prague’s Christmas markets are definitely some of the most magical in Europe! What a place to celebrate the season. Looking forward to following along on your 2020 adventures! ☺️
The videos of Jess walking ahead of you are so precious...She is so beautiful! From the front or back. My husband and I just love your love for one another. We have been married for 40 years now and feel very blessed to have found one another at a very young age. God bless you both and your life ahead. May you have a very healthy baby.
The Prague christmas markets, and just Prague in general, is amazing! We were there at the start of December last year. Such a beautiful city! Great video guys and merry Christmas.
It's been a week since I came across your videos for the first time. And am so happy that i did . I really love you guys and I wish you all the best. Merry Christmas and happy new year.
Prague during Christmas is pretty magical! We did a Prague Christmas market series just before you guys got there! Wish we could have been there at the same time!! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
Merry Christmas to you all! I'm a relatively new subscriber but love your videos! I have heard so many great things about Prague but didn't realise the markets would be open on Christmas Day itself! Safe travels to Canada & happy new year! 🥳
Yay Canada! I'm Canadian and you may not need that hat...it is a lot warmer than usual. At least it is in my patch of Canada. I suggest Quebec City...it's a piece of Europe in Canada...beautiful. The East coast is nice too. Anne of Green Gables house in Prince Edward Island...nice place to go.
Thanks! I know it's last minute but I'm trying to decide where to spend Christmas this year and it was either Prague or Budapest and I think you made my decision for me with this video. You two and your whole family are the best!
Wow can’t believe how busy it is at the market on Christmas Day. When you walk through my town on Christmas Day it’s pretty quiet, hardly anyone around. X
I think for most European countries Christmas Eve is the day you celebrate Christmas, that's when you get the gifts, eat Christmas dinner and everything. Where I live Christmas day is the biggest party day of the year, by then people are already tired of the family so everyone goes out at night! You meet all the friends that have moved away and are home for Christmas so it's really fun!
It looks like you had an amazing Christmas. I love making memories. So awesome you are coming to Canada for New Years. I live close to Calgary and can see the mountains from my back window. Welcome to the great province of alberta and the fabulous country of Canada
You guys should definitely list down your songs! They are so magical. I can’t wait to experiment this Christmas once Australia borders are open or when it is safe enough to travel again! 🥰🎄
Merry Christmas Stephen and Jess and Merry Christmas also to your families! I love it when your family members pop into your vlogs. They are so much fun. Safe travels to all of you!
Hey Steve and Jess! I haven’t commented in a while but I’ve been watching all your vids. You guys are awesome and I’m so happy for both of you and your wonderful adventures. Jess you look beautiful as ever. Family is everything, thanks for sharing! Merry Christmas and have a Happy & Healthy New Year 🎊
Greetings from the Philippines! I have been watching your videos and I’ve been enjoying it. I feel like you guys are my friends already. Love your Christmas series and your background music too. 💕
Merry Christmas! You're last few videos have been so extra special! You mentioned second Christmas, which I just loved that term and will now be using lol but technically the Christmas season starts on Christmas Day (think the 12 days of Christmas song we all know) and goes until Epiphany or the Baptism of Jesus. So interesting how different cultures celebrate
Great vlog kids! I love it when you do the local food and describe them. Please do more food spots on the vlogs. Love to see the food and watch you both enjoying it.
although one of those shots wasnt prague at all, it was from other city and dont know why it was included there, also it is prohibited and banned to fly drones in prague :D
What a lovely video from my home country thank you. Just a quick note Christmas in Czech is on 24th December, the sweet Trdelník isn't actually Czech and we'll done for finding turkey dinner as that is not a common meal to eat. Love your channel
Prague and czech in general has a lot to offer! its a shame you went during a time when 90% of everything is closed, but I'm glad you enjoyed the Christmas market!!
Merry Christmas Stephen & Jess 💗 it’s been so wonderful watching your European Christmas adventure with your lovely parents. What special memories you’re all making 😊 All the very best for the most magical 2020 💕
because we celebrate on 24. evening 25-26 is holidays but many shops are opened ... in prague is all for turists ... sellers have bigest sales on markets , who cares about empoyeds families :-(
Merry Christmas and Happy Boxing Day to you. Tonight was the 5th night of Hanukkah so we celebrated by lightning the menorah. This time of the year is truly about family! May your 2020 be blessed
So delighted to have found you guys just this past week!!! Merry Christmas to you all!! Excited about your Q&A and getting to know you more! Q&A: How often do you guys travel? And What is your source of income?

I live in Prague. That is where i was Born and it is very special to me that you spent Christmas here. ❤️
I just love to listen when Jess speaks. Her accent and voice are beautiful.

americans and their cars
@@dsansil I wish I never brought one! It was a burden the whole time.
Czech Republic has much more to offer than just Prague. Your should plan a roadtrip here some day. South Moravia with its wine, culture and amazing castles is amazing for example. Greetings from Brno, 2nd largest city in CZE :)
I've lived in Brno. It's so boring. So much so the Czechs even have a movie called "Boredom in Brno". I would not go there for holidays 🙃
ThutUPB thanks for that....we’re planning on taking our children in January 2021
@@tamil.f.3734 well Brno has very cozy Christmas markets and yes living there is a bit boring, but a one-day trip in December is a good idea :-)
I've been to Brno and I quite enjoyed it. You are such lovely people, and bring such beauty and fun, even to that bleak, gray on gray accommodation!
Love you guys! Thanks for sharing your special holiday with us! :D
What an awesome way to spend Christmas!
We were in Prague for Christmas as well :)... beautiful city, but sadly it rained quite a bit on Christmas Day.
It looks like you had an amazing Christmas. I love making memories. So awesome you are coming to Canada for New Years. I live close to Calgary and can see the mountains from my back window. Welcome to the great province of alberta and the fabulous country of Canada
You should meet the guy who does the honest reviews there. He's wild.
