Funny thing about Climax battles in K1: The Mad Dog battles are even easier than the two previous ones. If the Climax battles are just the Mad Dog battles and the Boss Rush, Climax Battles would be a piece of cake.
I never platinum any game before. Gaiden is the first that I have done it, because it is pretty simple. I was already grinding in the coliseum midway into the story.
Hearing other people mention CyricZ guides feels like a blast from the blast. I've been reading his guides since his early LEGO game days, and now he's my go to Yakuza guy.
I worked through the Y0 platinum with my brother in law over Christmas break 2018 while we were snowed in by a blizzard. In some ways it was a great experience, but in some it was a bizarre nightmare that feels like it didn't even happen. By the end, we were alternating between Mahjong, Pool, and Catfights if I recall correctly. Nearly lost our minds, our family did not understand the struggle to say the least. I'll never forget when we finally got the plat, we just kind of walked outside into the snow like zombies - "dude we did it............what now?"
I'm thinking it will probably be another shockingly easy one like Y7. Like yeah it will be a lot of stuff, but if you just make a good effort to do all the content the trophy is yours. They went out of their way to make Y7 appeal to the West and to new fans, and I think part of this was dropping the unbelievably punishing platinum requirements of games like Y3 and Y0
Yeah, that’s true. No trophies for this game’s rendition of completion list. It’s even easier than Yakuza 6 platinum since Amon in Gaiden is way easier than Jo in 6.
as someone who platinumed gaiden yesterday, i would definitely put it as the lowest in C tier. very fun and easy game to platinum, also on a side note I am just happy to see content about people platinuming yakuza so thank you for this video
The 1500 time trooper card challenge was a hell of a grind but I ended up popping it before I beat 100 dungeons because I put 2 “orders from the north” and one “Divine Luck” trooper on Wild dancer and had them on Auto activation so they’d pop every few seconds while I was grinding for the Repentance seal.
Great vídeo. I'm missing only Fist of The North Star and recent Like a Dragon Gaiden. Regardless of how hard they are, you get into a flowstate after you platinum an RGG game.
11:11 As someone who knows Dead Souls in and out, it's got one of the easiest plats and 100%'s in the series (other than one specific minigame). It's effectively just 4's trophy list but replace all the combat trophies with shooting ones. Substories are quick and easy (and really good I might add), weapons are easy to upgrade, and combat as a whole isn't a challenge. In terms of trophies, the only annoying ones are maxing out your character, which is a grind if you don't wanna do NG+, doing 50 floors of Endless Subterranea, which has a chance to make your console crash, and beating Dead Souls mode. This difficulty makes all zombies permanently enraged, which makes them spam an attack that *always* knocks you on the ground. On top of that, you can't do NG+ into the difficulty so you're forced to grind out levels early if you don't wanna be destroyed. The 100% is also really easy except for one thing: fishing. For whatever reason the fish are incredibly resilient and refuse to be pulled in, with some taking up to 10 whole minutes to catch. Having to use JP guides to figure out the best items for fishing (and trying for hours for some of them) was an absolute nightmare, it's part of why I did a video guide on it so people can see exactly what I used so my text guide doesn't seem completely random. It's the one thing that keeps me from recommending doing the 100% for the game. 19:22 Also you get like ten or so Mystery Stones throughout the game, so it's not as bad as you'd think. There's also a trick where you can just use one to craft every item that needs it at once which is really nice. 21:39 I'd say OG Ishin is a worse plat than the remake. Some of the changes to KIshin have made the grind less miserable despite the bad creative and combat changes, namely the reduction of grinding for a lot of Diligence Records (like petting animals, collecting eggs, and cooking), the cards trivializing a lot of combat, and most notably the patch that increases drop rates in the dungeon to a massive extent. OG Ishin doesn't have any of these, so the plat is effectively as grindy as the US version of Lost Paradise (except you're effectively trading the awful buggy race grind for the dungeons). I think I spent a good 50-60 hours of my 85 hour playthrough strictly grinding the dungeon compared to about 40 in KIshin (which would have been much shorter if I had done it after the patch). I definitely would never recommend platting OG Ishin at all, it's truly mindnumbing. Fantastic video by the way, I was wanting to do something like this sometime but it's nice to see someone else's opinions on it and you've done a really good and comprehensive job covering just about everything. And a big thank you for the shout-out at 49:30, making that video was a lesson in misery and I'm praying RGG never does anything like it again.
@@someguy2350 Sure, here's the explanation directly from CyricZ's guide. "So yeah, Mystery Stones. There's a ton of ways to get them, but even getting all the one-shot ones that are easy, you'll still probably fall short of the ten you'll need to make all the weapons. Or is that really the case? Well, the one you need to invest to make the Dragon's Binding is unavoidable. However, there's an interesting bug in this game. Whenever you make something that requires you to use something from your inventory, that will be gone by the time you make it, but as you're lining up your order from Kamiyama, it won't be spent yet. My point is that if you've invested all the weapons to make all the Modified Dragon super awesome weapons and you have the money to be able to buy them, you only need one Mystery Stone in your inventory. That one Mystery Stone will cover the entirety of one order, but you must buy them all at once. Also, if you do this trick to get all nine of the Modified Dragon weapons and you have like four Mystery Stones, all four of those will be spent in that one shot, so I suggest not doing it piecemeal. Get all of them at once to avoid the struggle."
@@someguy2350 He might be referring to a trick that I saw on CyricZ's guide (not sure who came up with the method) where you craft all the high tier weapons in 5 at once. Every one of those weapons requires a mystery stone, but if you have the cash and materials to craft them all in one go, you can make it happen with only one mystery stone.
Thank you so much for elaborating on these entries!! Your video helped me out a ton while grinding out the various seals and the explanation of RNG seeds was perfect, so I'm sure many more people will appreciate the hard work you've put into that project
It's funny hearing your agony over 5's completion list, because I actually kind of enjoyed doing it. I truly got to see everything this massive game had to offer, which made it feel like a huge journey. I was also going through a huge physical health problem at the time, so the game kinda helped take my mind off of it. The effect completing 0 had for you, 5 did for me. It was already a favorite of mine and I got to truly embrace the whole package. Fuck pachinko and cochin cup, though, my god.
Glad to hear it! Maybe if I played 5 before 0 I would view it the same way, so I'm glad to see people have such a positive outlook on the experience. And yes, hard agree on pachinko and especially cochin cup hahah
As someone that platinumed Dead Souls be prepared because Dead Souls difficulty is hard. It makes every zombie more agressive, faster and stronger. It made me do most of the substories again to get levels and the best weapons for each character.
This is one of the most interesting kinds of videos I can imagine watching. Everything on Netflix is pure boredom in comparison. I also platinumed pretty much everything except the PS3/PSP titles and this video was great to reminisce about all those games I have positive memories about! ❤
Congrats on the 5k, Gokudoni! Great list as well, and after the last video aired, I've changed my ways. I'm a mahjong master now. I've completed every entry (on Xbox, so no Lost Paradise), except 3 and 5. Anyways, awesome work and I'm always looking forward to your new videos!
I platinumed Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise and even though it traumatized me, I still like to think back to it. 😂 At that time it was the second Yakuza game I've ever played, with Yakuza:LaD being the first.
What crazy about Yakuza series is how they keep taking away the icons for side missions, the money grind can be easy or very difficult and the insane amount of crafting you do for each game
I love you Goku I'm thinking of doing a review of the entire Yakuza series for my channel and stuff like that, I wanna say every yakuza content creators I've watched so far have inspired me to work on it, so thanks!
I have platinumed both the original and kiwami version of ishin. I will say that the kiwami version is easier than the original for everything EXCEPT the blacksmith. Almost all completion list requirements were cut in half. However the in my opinion the baffleing changes to the blacksmith outdid all the posititive changes. Turning the weapon synthesis system into the rng based symbol system they have in kiwami and also locking some symbols behind rng drops in the dungeons was one of the most infuriating changes I've experienced.
@Katastrophe03 Maybe? I think gokudoni mentioned they patched the dungeon missions. I platinumed the game right before the first patch that upped enemy drop rate so I haven't kept up with it much since.
Great list, personally i found Yakuza 0 harder than 5 and Ishin but overall pretty much spot on. In terms of difficulty I'd probably put Y3 2nd I think, but its definitely less grindy. I've only completed the latest versions of 0-7 (Kiwami 1/2 ver), Ishin, Judgment & Lost judgment. Looking forward to Gaiden coming soon
Congrats on 5K!! Totally enjoyed the vid, thanks. Judgment PS4 took me a while to plat because of Puyo-Puyo. Got the PS5 plat well before the PS4 version. Puyo-Puyo is cute but utterly evil 😭 Yet it's amazing how some folks are actually pretty good at it. Ishin Kiwami Platinum took me a few weeks. The crafting was tedious BUT nowhere as painful as Puyo-Puyo.
Ishin was extremely grindy. I spent 2 or 3 days just doing the final dungeon over and over again so I could get enough of the crafting materials to craft the best sword and gun in the game. This was before the patch. I'm just glad I did it before the chicken glitch was patched because grinding for money would honestly be even more annoying with how expensive crafting is.
The good thing about the last set of dungeons is that you can sell a lot of the high tier weapons that drop for some really good cash. They became my main source of income, and I thankfully didn't have to do any more chicken racing.
I'm also one of those masochists, who did 100% before the patch. I had a 2000+ damage Vortex build just to grind the 0.5% drop rate items in the dungeons. It paid off, because the last stage took me 10 seconds to finish and the grind shortened substantially.
I gave up on obtaining the platinum for Like a Dragon Ishin. 90% is where I’m going to stick to because of the horrendous Seal system. Who at RGG Studio thought that was a great idea?!
I played 5 on hard the first time through which doesn't give you the trophy for beating it on normal so that added an extra playthrough to a pretty long game. I also did Akiyama 1 v 100 on hard which is one of the most frustrating things I've done in a video game. It takes forever so to get to the last 10 and die is soul crushing.
Idk if you’ll see this, but this video actually inspired me to go and platinum all the games I currently have. Rn I’ve finished Kiwami 1 and 2, 7, and Gaiden, and working on 3. Those climax battles are a real ball clencher. So, thank you for chronicling your journey and inspiring me.
I eventually ended up loving Mahjong once I had to play it so much to learn the rules, but the Exposed Dragon achievement in 3 was probably the most I got angry with the series.
I'm currently in a sort of cleanup of yakuza platinums, since I've beaten a lot of them but never really bothered with full completion, and it has been rather painful, but very satisfying, especially 0 since that's one of my favorite games ever, currently on kiwami 1 and I just finished Haruka's requests, only hostesses and mahjong left (and scrounge around kamurocho for weapons and gear which has turned out to be one of most annoying things in this game)
35:35 Yeah, This was probably the most difficult and frustrtating things I've ever had to go through. It was fun for what it was but the moment I missed one note I was just done for a day and took a break.
Congrats on 5k, just wanted to say that imo the Yakuza 4 platinum is slightly harder on ps3, just because you need 3000 balls a.k.a 2 full jackpots for the pachinko king trophy, whereas you only need 1.5k in the remaster.
I came sooo close to 100% lost paradise in the western version at 98% and only needing 4 mini games to reach specific level and the shitty rythm trophy but at that point I had over 180 hours and was completly drained, I might go back and complete this monstrous plat lol
I personally feel that Dead Souls is a lot easier than the other games. It has none of those annoying combat challenges and minigame requirements and the hardest trophy is just beating it on the hardest difficulty which admittedly can get pretty annoying at times, mainly before you get access to the general inventory for each character. It's also pretty terrible. Craft the shotgun as soon as possible and you'll have an easier time of it; no other gun matters on Dead Souls mode. Play the EU version of the game as you get a whole lot of gambling cheat items which can make more money than you need in like 5 minutes and because this is before they got really greedy with DLC you can use a fresh batch of them in every playthrough. Apparently the NA version didn't get those items. Also the blocking is pretty bad even in the original release of Yakuza 3. It was always pretty infamous for that but yeah it was much worse in the remaster. I picked Easy on that version just to make it bearable but it was still awful in that regard.
Yakuza 5 Remastered had a couple of really gut wrenching bugs (at least the PC Steam version) that I remember that made the 100%/Platinum even more gruesome. Revelations were really tedious to unlock because you had to keep spamming a SPECIFIC move in order unlock a new attack/heat action while having no visibility on progress or even hardly any information on how to actually trigger it. Once you actually progress enough to unlock the revelation, there's a bug that occurs very frequently in which it freezes completely and soft locks the game. Finally, there's another bug with Haruka's street dance battles where the results screen bugs out and get permanently stuck there. If you see Komaki and have a dance battle with him you can raise your max level from 20 to 25. However this has the odd effect of causing this glitch to happen and it occurs 100% of the time you attempt to complete a street dance battle. In my game, I completed *EVERYTHING* and the absolute last thing I left to do was the Amon substory for Haruka. It starts by a street dance battle, and it was impossible for me to complete those. This was already like 120 - 140 hours in, and my only save I had before I caused the glitch to occur was 40 hours in, losing 80 - 100 hours of progress. I was utterly defeated and I knew I wasn't about to go through that again. At least being on PC, I was able to download a working save online where it got the 100% at the Haruka Amon Substory again which essentially put me exactly where I was stuck. However I now forever feel like I didn't "truly" get the Platinum for Yakuza 5 Remastered and that I cheated.
I originally gave up on the PS4 version of Judgment thanks to Puyo Puyo, but I decided to go back and try again and I finally beat it. All that’s left is the Legend playthrough and I’ve got the platinum for it.
Took me a few tries but i didn't hate Puyo Puyo, I was pretty consistent with it got alot of 28 wins all because i used to play Mean Bean Factory when i was a kid so naturally it was nostalgic for me instead of rage 😅
congratulations on 5k!!! I recently platinumed 9 RGG titles I have on Steam (well, excluding Binary Domain lol) which are Yakuza 0 to 6 and both Judgment games, looking forward to getting Gaiden eventually and make that my 10th RGG platinum. I gotta say, I agree with MANY things you said about the games I have platinums on, and gave a notice to never, ever, ever try platinuming games like Ishin (which I doubt I'll ever even get due to it's mixed reviews from the fans and the dogwater Unreal Engine 4 optimization) or Lost Paradise (which I desperately want on PC but seeing people constantly shit on the platinum makes me sad). keep on grinding, you're def one of my fav RGG channels on here and I can see you achieve great things if you keep putting in the work 🙏
Congrats on all of the platinums! I hope you enjoy your time with Gaiden and that it feels like a rewarding experience by the end. Also massive thank you for the continued support! I'll try my best to keep making fun videos
I'm going for both Judgment trophies and i'm only having trouble with the minigames so far, mahjong is kinda kicking my ass lol 😅 but this is a nice and informative video all around
I just recently finished my second platinum (6 and Gaiden) and was looking for a list ranking the difficulties because I wanted to do them from easiest to hardest. I would definitely say Gaiden has one of if not the easiest plat in the series connsidering that just 2 weeks after release almost 10% of players have it
I enjoy the grinding bits but lord, the Sega minigame completion, the drone racing, fishing in 3 and 5, are the ones that make me quit going for completion. Kudos to you sir for even manage not to lose your sanity to pop those trophies
Gaiden would definitely be a C-tier thanks to how easy it is, as well as how little you need to grind (aside from the Justice fight, there's nothing that had made me grind for equipment or stuff.) Now, if only the PS5 version could recognize my PS4 saves so I can get this auto-pop and actually try to 100% it without having to redo all the cabaret stuff...
Well when I did Justice I had a full squad of all gold rank members. 3 Tanks, 2 Healers, the rest all attackers. They were all level 3 anywhere between level 15 to 20. My advice for you go into the fight with full heat bar and extreme heat as Yakuza and just start destroying the little adds. Ping pong kill them and just leave Justice for last. Because the more adds that are on the board the more your team divides attack energy elsewhere which gets healed up with the heal they do.
I got the platinum for the ps4 version of judgment back in the days and let me tell you, you dodged a really big bullet by going for the ps5 version 😅 that last character that shows up only after 20 rounds of puyo puyo can burn in hell. And the freakin fish as well
for someone who has played all the games (outside of the more unavailable ones like Dead Souls and the PS3 versions of 1 and 2) but never done any platinums, would u recommend just going through release order, series order, or just picking what seems easiest?
Depends on your general approach while gaming. If you're already a completionist, then the order you choose won't really make a difference. If you rarely go for platinums, maybe try a "middle of the road" type of entry to test the waters (for example Kiwami 2 cause it has a completion list requirement, but is generally easy to do).
The only bad thing about Judgement looking back was just Paradise vr. Mahjong was padded but at least it requires me to use my brain. It's just weird seeing people think the Yagami games were hard at all. Especially after doing K1 and Ishin
Ive done the full completion list in most games and man how painful it is in some games. Y7 is extremely grindy, probably HGG levels of grind. I found the batting in y4 to be even harder than in 3 but maybe thats just bias. 6 list is also very grindy due to puyo puyo and spearfishing requirements. Kenzan's list is probably the hardest completion list in the series. Both kurohyous are very buggy especially 2 and it can just fuck you for no reason. Also, dead souls plat on B and OG Ishin on S
Great video nice to know which ones are the hardest and easiest I wish I could Platinum more of these games but mahjong is what always kills it for me I've tried looking up videos for it and still don't really understand it Even had people try to help me and I still couldn't do it I think if it wasn't for the Mahjong I have a lot more of these Platinum Kind of wish I did because I absolutely love this series honestly it might be my favorite Anyway amazing video thanks for uploading up❤😊
People make Mahjong in Yakuza way more complicated than it needs to be. All you need is a pair of matching tiles and separate sets of 3 either matching or in numerical order. Don't steal, don't try to get certain hands, don't do anything it prompts you to at all (except ron), just make sure you spam square to declare you've almost got a full hand and make sure to take the ron (your last tile someone else discarded) if it happens. You won't win anything playing against real people like this, but it's more than enough to beat the computer opponents. Even the hardest ones. Looking at what has already been discarded can help once you know what you're looking for, like if you have 2 of one tile and 2 of another, so two matching pairs, you could make one pair a triple, unless the other 2 tiles have already been discarded. So then you'd know it will only ever be a pair and that can be your one pair that hand. Then it's just triples. 1, 2, 3 of that kind, 5, 6, 7 of a different kind, 3 of that dragon etc. It doesn't matter what kind, just that you have them. Honestly, it's very easy, you just have to match the tiles. If you win an early hand with about 10k points you usually have enough buffer to win the match. If you lose a hand big time, just reload. Sometimes you'll get bad RNG, just reload. Sometimes the computer is really lucky and you'll get destroyed, just reload. And then it's just matching and counting. Could you try and learn all the special hands and what kon, pon, haneman, yaku, ippatsu etc all mean? Sure, but you don't need any of it to finish the completion list. You just need a pair and some sets of 3, and you have to hope you get them before someone else does. And once you've figured it out you'll realise it was never difficult and you might even start enjoying it!
I find like a dragon being so rare to platinum crazy. I know some people complain about the grinding for the final amon fight but to me it was one of the easiest.
There's some grind but compared to the rest of the series it's nothing. After 10h of main story you are good to plat (assuming you don't need to overkill with farming and got skills to do it below max lvl).
LAD was SO easy, I actually thought people were trolling when they said true final tower was a plat killer. A bit grindy to level jobs for the moves, sure, but.. difficult? Not even a little bit.
I've gotten nearly every trophy on the PS3 versions of Yakuza 3, 4, and 5. Of those, I'm looking forward to finally closing the book on the first two. With 5, though, I think I'll be even happier the last time I ever play the game, without going for completion. I've done everything but the minigames, and honestly I'll probably do them eventually, but I have about 300 hours in the game, from about five playthroughs plus Premium Adventure grind, and all this time with the game has made it impossible to enjoy. I wouldn't gain anything from completing it, and I would get a lot of spiteful pleasure knowing I got so close and didn't follow through. So yeah, the Yakuza 5 platinum is so evil that it makes me want to purposefully never get it so I can vicariously laugh at RGG Team.
i really hope some kind soul works on a new rom for dead souls because the only english one currently available is absolutely awful to try and run with an emulator. my laptop can't run it at all either, and my friends with really high quality gaming pcs said even they experienced constant crashes, framerate drops and bugs throughout. it's such a shame because i wanna play the silly zombie game so badly 😔
19:59 >"Am I being too melodramatic?" No. No you're not. >Cat Scratch Fever Dogshit trophy. Rigged minigame. >The D&T System is more ridiculous than the weapons system in Y5 I will have to disagree on that. Yes, RNGesus - bullshit be His name - is present but are you able to MANIPULATE IT. You have money and special equipment to do it. >26:20 "SAKURA MIIICHIIIIII-" God I can still remember the pain.. >26:25 It must have been the nerves and the fact I was doing a challenge run on Legend that made Chapter 9 even MORE hellish for me. But yeah that chase can go right into the scrapyard and STAY there. >Kiwami's Ultimate/Climax/Battle Review Memory's a little hazy, but yeah, I remember them being rough as hell. >K2's play time nearing 90 hours. Very similar to mine, actually. >The Japanese version of Lost Paradise's trophy requirements (Or Like a North Star as I like to call it) I learned that the JP version was even more bullshit AFTER I had spent a total of 236 hours on this bullshit spin-off to 100% completion. Best and worst RGG game I had ever played. And I'm sad that I hate it. >38:02 "Missable" Deathcries due to overleveling I disagree on that very heavily. You know why? Charge your grab. Literally get the same result as if I had done the combo before the grab. Or hell, whiff your attacks BEFORE the grab. Otherwise, the completion grind was horrible and what's more shocking - AFTER I had played Y5, HOW was that game WORSE than LNS?! I'd watch the rest of the video but I have not played the rest of the games after Judgement so I'll have to wait and see what BS awaits me in the respective games.
Im cool completing completion list often, but yeah in 4 having to go through the game several times is something i doubt Im going to do. I beat it on hard and that unlocks legend, it doesnt give ylu the trophy for normal. So id have to do a normal and legend.
I feel like most of the trophies i dont have are not so much difficult just easy to miss or just annoying. Like the one trophy im missing for plat in 7 is the honk honk one, the honker never shows up rng nonsense. Or in judmement i missed those cats.
I finished Ishin a few days ago and while I liked the game I doubt I’ll go for 100% because of how much of a grind it is. I noticed they got really greedy with the micro transactions (though I think they rolled back the one purchase per save file nonsense) which is probably why the crafting grind is so bad.
I have every platinum in the series except for Yakuza 3. The Minigame Master trophy made me give up. And it's my least favorite game so it was hard to keep playing it.
I didn’t like the tedium of the completion list. Which is why I loved the Y6, Gaiden, and Y7 b/c of the RPG aspect. However for the life of me, I platinum’d Lost Paradise. No idea why I did but I just did.
Mr Master would've been the worst achievement in Kiwami 1 had it not been for an exploit which you can skip all the hardest parts via Baccarat clear file via talking to the dog exploit. For that reason I would say Kiwami's perfectionist is the worst one to get in that game. Also funny to note I actually think Yakuza's 0 legend had the worst shooting segment because you have to do the defending Makoto thing right after (which her meter drains in almost one grab.) while in kiwami 1 you can just tiger drop your way (or golden gun your way) from the Lau Long level to the driving stage in almost 5 mins flat if you know the level layout.
I honestly have more trouble with arcades than with mahjong. If you know the basics its just a matter of time to complete the task, but arcades are completely annoying.
Honestly there are a lot of yakuza games that i would love to 100% but I really just do not care for doing the completion list (and also learning entire japanese gambling games)
I only have 6 on platinum. Mainly due to the ever recurring legendary playthrough. That just doesn't interest me. But working on the Gaiden platinum right now. That should be easy enough.
Been loving RGG games since Yakuza 3 on PS3. Not settling on just platinum, I've gone so far as to willingly 100% every game since then (except for the japanese exclusives. Only happened to get Y5 on PS3 in Japan due to a trip there.). Dead Souls feels solidly B tier. I can only say as a megafan of the series, the variety of the optional content has only made me really good at gaming in general, despite how frustrating some of their requirements were. And strangely, I didn't really feel too bored at grinding Lost Paradise. Maybe because I've played far worse games in my lifetime. Even the worst RGG titles are better than average in my book.
As someone who had to actually learn koi koi and mahjong to play this series, I really enjoyed how it forced me to persevere and throw myself at stuff untill I could beat it. Winning ten times with the catfights was by far the worst, most annoying and boring thing to me. Worse even than the hostess BS of 3 and 4.
Thank you for watching! Here are some timestamps if you want to revisit a specific segment. I hope you enjoyed it!

Funny thing about Climax battles in K1: The Mad Dog battles are even easier than the two previous ones. If the Climax battles are just the Mad Dog battles and the Boss Rush, Climax Battles would be a piece of cake.
Cool! Thx!❤
Congratulations on 5k and here's to 100k, buddy
You're too kind, my man!! I can't thank you enough for your support and kindness so far 🥰
@@gokudoniWhat are your thoughts of Gaiden's Platinum?
I worked through the Y0 platinum with my brother in law over Christmas break 2018 while we were snowed in by a blizzard. In some ways it was a great experience, but in some it was a bizarre nightmare that feels like it didn't even happen. By the end, we were alternating between Mahjong, Pool, and Catfights if I recall correctly. Nearly lost our minds, our family did not understand the struggle to say the least. I'll never forget when we finally got the plat, we just kind of walked outside into the snow like zombies - "dude we did it............what now?"
I'm scared to see infinite wealth trophies list when that game comes out
because that game seems so massive
Likewise hahah
Hopefully, it follows Y7's logic with the platinum design.
If anything, we should pray for cyricZ cause he's gonna have to do a guide for it right on the heels of gaiden
@@eieneidnf lmao. I have 10 platinums dedicated to that legend
@@gokudoniMy guy. It is doable. We are blessed to not have 100% completion or Minigame Master.
Yakuza 5 being my first Platinum in the series was my biggest achievement and mistake. I loved it but the coliseum grind especially killed my soul.
Good news is, it's all uphill from there! :D
I will never forget the agony that Yakuza 3 Remastered pool put me through
I'm still suffering for it 😃mahjong and luck based minigames are unironically more forgiving lol
The 60FPS somehow fucks the game's minigames AI for some reason, especially Y5R pool.
Just use a ruler next time for pool
I heard Like A Dragon Gaiden is by far the easiest Yakuza game to Plat
It is the definitely the easiest to plat/get all Achievements for
What no mahjong does to a mf
Yeah, that’s true. No trophies for this game’s rendition of completion list. It’s even easier than Yakuza 6 platinum since Amon in Gaiden is way easier than Jo in 6.
True, took me 2 days to platinum
7 is also easy
as someone who platinumed gaiden yesterday, i would definitely put it as the lowest in C tier. very fun and easy game to platinum, also on a side note I am just happy to see content about people platinuming yakuza so thank you for this video
Dude you are so cool! Ever since I have subscribed to you, I get all Yakuza info from you
Great video, this is bound to blow up really soon!
My thoughts on the 5 and 0 plstinum is exactly the reverse of yours. I love the 5 platinum
Great vídeo. I'm missing only Fist of The North Star and recent Like a Dragon Gaiden. Regardless of how hard they are, you get into a flowstate after you platinum an RGG game.
Never thought I hear two opposing difficulties of platinum in one statement…
Could you elaborate on that crafting trick for 5?
@@ItsAllstarBroseThank you! Currently still 100%ing 4 but I've heard about missable items and stuff on 5 and this is reassuring.
If you can endure Hostess Maker, nothing in the world can break your willpower anymore.
Thank you for the kind words! Really glad to see a fellow mahjong enjoyer here :D
congrats gokudoni
very deserved 5k
I platinumed Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise and even though it traumatized me, I still like to think back to it. 😂 At that time it was the second Yakuza game I've ever played, with Yakuza:LaD being the first.
What crazy about Yakuza series is how they keep taking away the icons for side missions, the money grind can be easy or very difficult and the insane amount of crafting you do for each game
I see yakuza content I subscribe! Great video
Ishin was by far my most difficult platinum of all but I finally prevailed.
I love you Goku
I'm thinking of doing a review of the entire Yakuza series for my channel and stuff like that, I wanna say every yakuza content creators I've watched so far have inspired me to work on it, so thanks!
They patched it and made it more easier to get rare loot, right?
@Katastrophe03 Maybe? I think gokudoni mentioned they patched the dungeon missions. I platinumed the game right before the first patch that upped enemy drop rate so I haven't kept up with it much since.
@@vdeogamer251 Looks like the grind is a little less, but still huge
@@Katastrophe03 They patched the acquisition of materials but did nothing to alleviate the RNG grindfest of obtaining and applying seals.
@@ItsAllstarBrose Thank you, didn't played it 'till that point of completion
Congratulations on 5k dude great video as always
Finished all 12 of the rgg/yakuza pc releases really looking forward to infinite wealth to come out so i can get the platinum :)
So, thank you for chronicling your journey and inspiring me.
such a great video
Great video! Completely agree that the Japanese version of North Star is the hardest in the series.
Thank you so much for watching! You make some amazing stuff on your channel as well, so thank you for your contributions to the community
The damn PuyoPuyo requirement in Judgment was nearly the death of me.
Another banger 🔥🔥🔥
whoa you started the video super crazy, if thats yakuza 6 it makes me wanna play it; if its a different yakuza then im still on 5 lol
Luckily it is the more palatable Western version, because if it is the Japanese version, that percentage would look really bleak.
Only completed Infinite Wealth, Like A Dragon just needs the final true tower to complete.
Working on Lost Judgment now and loving it.
You are absolutely crazy for getting the platinums in the psp games
I originally gave up on the PS4 version of Judgment thanks to Puyo Puyo, but I decided to go back and try again and I finally beat it. All that’s left is the Legend playthrough and I’ve got the platinum for it.
Great video
Steam does have platinum trophies though...?
CyricZ, aka the Dragon of GameFAQs
I'm going for both Judgment trophies and i'm only having trouble with the minigames so far, mahjong is kinda kicking my ass lol 😅 but this is a nice and informative video all around
Is mahjong still giving you trouble? I just started Judgment and truth be told it's rekindling my partial dislike towards mahjong
im actually really close to Y5 platinum. All i need is pachinko but im so burnt out that I cant do it
Take your time. You can do it! The convenience stores may have some cheat item packs for you, if you haven't used them already as well.
Oh man, thank God they removed the pachinko from the remaster.
@@marcelosoares7148 its in the console remaster but not in pc releases
How much Mahjong has to be done in lost judgment for the 100% trophies? Its literally the main reason i didn’t bought it
I just recently finished my second platinum (6 and Gaiden) and was looking for a list ranking the difficulties because I wanted to do them from easiest to hardest. I would definitely say Gaiden has one of if not the easiest plat in the series connsidering that just 2 weeks after release almost 10% of players have it
Y6 and Judgement will always be frustrating because I am millimeters away from finishing their completion lists.
But, Puyo Puyo just fucks me up.
I enjoy the grinding bits but lord, the Sega minigame completion, the drone racing, fishing in 3 and 5, are the ones that make me quit going for completion. Kudos to you sir for even manage not to lose your sanity to pop those trophies
I liked to plat Fist of The North Star, I really enjoyed the Game
You should do a Recieve You tier list next
Gaiden would definitely be a C-tier thanks to how easy it is, as well as how little you need to grind (aside from the Justice fight, there's nothing that had made me grind for equipment or stuff.) Now, if only the PS5 version could recognize my PS4 saves so I can get this auto-pop and actually try to 100% it without having to redo all the cabaret stuff...
Why is the Justice fight hard? I keep hearing people complain about it. I beat it extremely easy first try on professional.
@@wildicedemon9926 then I'll need your wisdom on it, because the timer's always too tight IMO. Must be me then...
@@kaiserkreuz4155 Are you talking about the team rumble Justice fight or the solo Justice fight?
@@wildicedemon9926 the Team Rumble fight. I feel like it's RNG on whether I get to finish them off in time, thanks to their absurd heal.
And the freakin fish as well
I did the Puyo Puyo requirements for 6's completion list and I nearly gave up. It's that difficult.
for someone who has played all the games (outside of the more unavailable ones like Dead Souls and the PS3 versions of 1 and 2) but never done any platinums, would u recommend just going through release order, series order, or just picking what seems easiest?
Also, dead souls plat on B and OG Ishin on S
dead souls low B but has a glitchy throphy
Fuck the coliseum achievement in 5. Holy shit.
Wait there was a patch that made the dungeon grind easier in Ishin Kiwami? I grinded Amon like week one and that grind was miserable
Great video nice to know which ones are the hardest and easiest
I wish I could Platinum more of these games but mahjong is what always kills it for me
I've tried looking up videos for it and still don't really understand it
Even had people try to help me and I still couldn't do it
I think if it wasn't for the Mahjong I have a lot more of these Platinum
Kind of wish I did because I absolutely love this series honestly it might be my favorite
Anyway amazing video thanks for uploading up❤😊
People make Mahjong in Yakuza way more complicated than it needs to be.

>38:02 "Missable" Deathcries due to overleveling
I disagree on that very heavily.
I don't envy people who try to platinum RGG games.
So what was it that made 3 A tier despite it not needing the completion list?
Minigame Master: essentially having to complete the minigame part of that game's completion list, and the AI is brutal in specific entries there.
I finished Ishin a few days ago and while I liked the game I doubt I’ll go for 100% because of how much of a grind it is. I noticed they got really greedy with the micro transactions (though I think they rolled back the one purchase per save file nonsense) which is probably why the crafting grind is so bad.
Congrats on the 5k. you serve 5 million
Thank you as always for your overwhelming support!! I hope your channel sees the same success very soon
Zeros fun as fuck I enjoyed that plat
Mr Master would've been the worst achievement in Kiwami 1 had it not been for an exploit which you can skip all the hardest parts via Baccarat clear file via talking to the dog exploit. For that reason I would say Kiwami's perfectionist is the worst one to get in that game. Also funny to note I actually think Yakuza's 0 legend had the worst shooting segment because you have to do the defending Makoto thing right after (which her meter drains in almost one grab.) while in kiwami 1 you can just tiger drop your way (or golden gun your way) from the Lau Long level to the driving stage in almost 5 mins flat if you know the level layout.
hardest yakuza game to platinum/100 % completion is ishin, crafting the seals cause the RGN
I honestly have more trouble with arcades than with mahjong. If you know the basics its just a matter of time to complete the task, but arcades are completely annoying.
Honestly there are a lot of yakuza games that i would love to 100% but I really just do not care for doing the completion list (and also learning entire japanese gambling games)
normal mode thropy in Yakuza 4 is really brainless.
Assassination of bodhisattva rocked hard for outro
Counter for everytime bro says "proverbial."
Honestly after 0 and ishin every other platinum in the series seems easy by comparison
Mahjong and Shogi makes my brain melt
Ratchet and Clank and Yakuza? Man, you got good taste
I only have 6 on platinum. Mainly due to the ever recurring legendary playthrough. That just doesn't interest me. But working on the Gaiden platinum right now. That should be easy enough.
Ha, sad sam kod Leona čuo da si iz Hrvatske 😀 pozdrav iz Novog Sada, legendo, napokon i da ovdje ima hardkor fanova 😁😁
I like to much ishin and i didn't platinum yakuza 5 so yeah my teste it a bit rubbish 😅
Where do I go for the best yakuza guides I plan on getting the platinum in 0-6
