Hello. Greatings from Lituania. I will start riding this ASAP in coming april. What you can recomend to protect sides from falling, this summer I will ride on gravel, forest roads with loose sand
@@elmbystrafikskolaadventure7344 any issues with the clutches? We've been using 850s for offroady and one bike clutch died while hilll clean climbing. Other one died while pulling dead bike to the road...
I’m not 100% sure. This was my trainings bike I got from BMW Motorrad Nordic. To training to GS Trophy 2020 New Zealand. It was probably as an extra part fromBMW Motorrad I bought a 2021 BMW F850GS after the competition. And ordered a bashplate from Touratech. But I had to modify it. Because the baseplate only fitted euro4 bikes. And the 2021 was an euro5 bike. 🤦🏼🤦🏼🤦🏼🤦🏼
@Elmbys Trafikskola / Adventure Riding School got you. Thanks for prompt reply. I've got 19 gs adventure model and debating between touratech's expedition and RALLYE versions. Rallye seems to cover engine more but I'm concerned about it's cooling on slow offroad riding
I love both bikes. The 1250 has the raw power and great balance. The 850 is more like a motocross with great suspension and great power as well. You are going to become happy with both the bike. If I would go out and travel I would choose the 1250. It’s so comfortable. I have ridden both the bikes on motocross track, I have a video on my RUclips channel when I ride the 1250 in the track. It’s a little bit heavy, but that’s the charm 🏍🏍🏍🏍
@@alvarosolis7837 I have no problem when I ride with any of the bikes. But of course bigger front wheel is always better. The only different is that the 1250GS engine is huge when you ride through tight trees and rocks 😂😂😂
Check out my friend Jocelin Snow she is about 150cm and she was with us on an own 850GS in New Zealand. No problem. You can always lowering it 🤔 but then the off-road properties getting worse
Adventure bike training - in shorts t-shirt and tennis shoes. Wearing waaay to much gear. I do all my off road riding and training wearing nothing but a condom.
Im buying one of these later this year. I'm going to have to watch all your videos now. Great stuff!! Subscribed!!
Thanks Bonwana.
This is a great bike.
I started a series when I rebuild my own 850gs to a trophy bike.
Did you get one
@@VI_Deo_Ops No I got the R1250R which is awesome.
@@bonwana2275 is it good in gravel

It's so cool decal…
Where are you bought this decal?
The GS Trophy decals?
It’s from BMW Mottorad. And I don’t know if you can buy it ? They make them for the GS Trophy.
Great skills! What’s your bike specs? Clutch, suspension stock or performance?
All stock brother 🏍️🏍️🏍️

Already not riding properly; you have shorts on.
I love the tennis ball pick up drill at low speed. I’ll try that but not in the snow; nice control
Yeah shorts was only temporary.
Otherwise always full protection gear 🙈
Ride on 🏍️🏍️🏍️🏍️
Love it!!
Mad skills
Thanks bro 🏍🏍🏍🏍

Check with your local BMW Motorrad dealer? The bike is an 850GS.
What bike do you like better, 850 or 1250 GS?

I am 163cm tall. Is it suitable for short people like me?

😂😂😂😂 I tested this exercise, before we trained the whole track in full motorcycle equipment
Impressive...imagine what that guy could do on a decent bike.
