My experience with an HOA is similar. Greed, self empowerment, thumbing the rules and stealing and more. It took hours and hours of work to uncover their misdeeds and to get them out. So many residents are empathetic to what's happening or perhaps too trusting. Neighbors asked me how and why. I was speaking out for all residents, even if they wouldn't stand up for themselves, if we discovered so much how much more was their to find? My tires were slashed, my employer called and so much more. So if it appears Jeremy is fanning the flames, it gets attention. He is being a true advocate of the town's people.

When there is power to be had, if the wrong person has it, they will abuse it. It's the same for my version of a "hoa" don't have that here but it's similar enough.
They denied us getting a fiber internet line put in because the road was recently paved. Everyone else across the road already has it, it's just my house and me neighbor that doesn't. They are old and don't need it. So it's just me. It needs to go across the road there is other options but that was denied too because it involves going through other peoples yards.
They are denying us getting the line because they can, not because they should.
I probably should dig it up and cut it so no one but me has internet, but I don't wanna stoop to their level.

I'm thankful that you are not walking away from this. As you have pointed out, there's a bunch of people who wouldn't want to go through what you're willing to take on for the community you have chosen to join. I'm a veteran and I'm sure I can speak for many when I say "you're the American who we risked our lives for so our neighborhoods could remain a place to come home to".
The corruption in America is from individuals, not from the organizations they are supposed to be representing.👍🙏❤️

You are not allowed to let others use of those keys. You will return them when sperated employment or when your supervisor request that you surrender them. Same for any electronic key cards.
