Good video, and good call on using the 10.1 pistons. My 2.9 is a 1mm overbore, same crank, Molnar rods, and CP pistons. Cam is a 274. Megasquirt pnp 2.0, innovate wideband. It's a hoot at about 200 hp to the wheels. You'll love it!
@@doctortruth4094 Actually the build has changed on the motor I'm actually going to do a 3.1 now and changing it up I did a whole update video on this I think I posted it in the description or the comments
How does one identify a Super eta? I received the lower block in a package deal among other motors and trying to sell this but want to list it correctly.
check crank stroke and look for 885 style piston. Also if you look up the denver beer and oil youtube they have a lot of great information about the difference on a seta to a normal 325i block.
It really depends what you want to do and how much you want to spend because doing like a 2.7 stroker gives you more power than a normal 2.5 It doesn't require a bunch of stuff to happen so honestly just depends on how much money you want to spend
@@smcarmel 2.7 stroker is the best way to go, but works best with a 2.7 bottom end, DBO on RUclips has a bunch of stroker content you can search through that will be the best idea

Update to the Stroker m20 plan, going bigger.

How would you suggest someone get into making a stroker motor? I want to put a stroker motor in my e30 over winter

@@chgotbanned kinda thinking minimal increase of power to cash ratio.

@@chgotbanned k ill look into that thanks. Would that need a stand alone ecu?
@@smcarmel for what I'm doing I need a standalone, I don't believe you do with a 2.7 stroker just a chip I think
You need an Uh/Umm counter lmao.
Also don't pull a Neal and plate all your parts and let the car sit for years while you make the engine look pretty
Big facts.
I might just do that though
