who cares, anything over 22 is kinda a poor old child in todays world, if you expect men to be a plan as a pinay if that man is under 50 best of luck, you have no chance.
Experience and maturity are huge factors. My wife was born in Mindanao. Her earliest memory is being woken and taken from her bed in the middle of the night by a Philippines Army soldier. They were evacuating people ahead of the jihadists, who were seizing villages in her area one by one. She remembers seeing people being gunned down in the street. Now in her 20s, she has already been working for years to put all of her younger siblings through school and university. She has an amazing array of skills and talents. Her resourcefulness and strength of character blow my mind. I'm in my 40s. I have travelled the world and lived in different countries. However, it is very clear to me that she has had much more life experience than I have. There is simply no way she could ever be compatible with an average western guy in his mid 20s who has done nothing with his life so far, other than play video games and then party at university. They would have nothing in common.
@@domenicv7962My point was that many Filipinas in their 20s have vast life experience because of their tough upbringings. They would be running rings around most western men of the same age. Because of this, it makes perfect logical sense that they would be attracted to someone who is older and has more life experience and can still teach them things and offer some wisdom. That's much more of a relationship between equals than they could get from a younger man who just learned how to tie his own shoe laces. I can of course offer her resources and more opportunities in my country than she would ever have in the Philippines. Let's be real. But that's just one factor in our relationship. I didn't marry her just because she has a pretty face, and she didn't marry me just because I could sponsor her a visa.

Hey there Leah - I am a big fan of you and Gary and all this talk about the typical Filipina being all about the money is BS - in America that attitude is called hypergamy - in short it means women "marrying up" for money reasons, for status reasons, for social reasons - the world changes and evolves and I think that the typical Filipina has the right philosophy regarding an older more mature foreigner 🙂

US culture wants old people to give up and go away. In other parts of the world, an older guy is highly respected for his experience, accomplishments, and wisdom. It's not hard at all to catch the eye of a younger woman.
Thank you for enlightening me. I plan to retire in the Philippines soon but don't want to be alone. The biggest question for me is. Older or younger Filipina girl.
allow me to present my opinion: some young women (not only filiipinas) are looking to find an old husband to help her and her family finanically. it is ok when both are happy. The old husband has a pretty young, caring wife and the young wife has a kind husband supporting her family. Then both are happy.
Hi sweetie, I’m glad you and your family are happy and healthy. My lovely bride and I have 4 beautiful mixed kiddos. They got the best from both of us. We live in California, and visit the islands every year. Our kiddos are grown now so it’s mama and me that visit. We have a house in a nice subdivision 1/2 away from wifeys family compound. In the subdivision are wifeys closest Nieces she grew up with. They are a few years younger then her. They have kids and it so nice to spend time with family. Sometimes my wife sends me to the market to buy food and veggies. When I’m with her I’m “safe” when I’m alone the ladies ask me if I’m married or have a girl friend. They all laugh when I say happily married since I was a young fella. I’m old chubby and balding. No catch at all, but the ladies still ask! My wife holds my hand like I’m a lil boy when we go out. So funny. When my wife retires I would like to spend time in Bagiuo where it is cooler I don’t like the heat! Thank you for sharing this video, take God bless you and your family.
I’m in my forties. But I’m not sure what you mean by more experienced, Leah. I’m a virgin. And as a Christian man … I want to give that to my future wife as my wedding gift to her (after marriage). But I agree with you about communication. I personally won’t put up with tampo. I’m Andrew. I also want to live in the United States (where I’m from). Everything you say is basically right, that's how I see it anyway. Nothing wrong with young guys, or most anyway, regardless if they're foreigners or locals. But we older guys do have our "strong suits" too. One thing I noticed when I dated a much younger filipina was that the "age gap" kinda disappeared between us after a while. As you get to know each other, it's the personalities that count, not the age, 'n eventually you don't think about it very much. I remember in the west how young women sometimes would show an interest, for some reason though age gaps have become kinda taboo "over there", well unless you're a famous actor or very wealthy of course, then it's alright for some reason. I do carry that with me in the Ph. too, I would not feel comfortable approaching a young filipina, like in a mall or something, even though she'd be Ok with it. I'm still a bit cautious over what ppl will think. One filipina even told me that other filipinos will think she's a prostitute if she's with an older westerner in public, now that I don't think is true though, not in general anyways 😅
Yes, all women (not just Filipinas) are going to care about the financial stability of their potential husband. For that matter, men marrying western women are usually going to care about the economic contribution their spouse will be making, even if he expects to be the dominant contributor. So would a younger Filipina continue in a relationship with an older man who became broke through sickness etc., though he had all the other qualities? I doubt it. Sorry.
you doubt it because you think western way. our part of the world long ago became extremely cynical, materialistic and selfish. first thing many western people (regardless of gender) do when their partner becomes sick and jobless is leave relationship.
How 'old' is 'older'? My Filipina wife, whom I met in HK, is 12 years younger than I - she was 36 and I was 48. We have a child together. We live in the Philippines. We own property and have a business. We came here because she wanted to come home.
Women love to change the wording to say "money isn't the ONLY reason". Well, yes, of course. I doubt a woman (any country) would stay will a rich gut who smelled bad, was rude and hit her. So duh, money is never the ONLY reason. Saying that is called a "red herring" logic fallacy. It's dishonest. Money is the first bar a man must cross. After the man has established he has money then the judging on other factors can begin. No money = no chance. For example Filipinas love to say "foreigner" as the type of man they're interested in. But they have no interest at all from men from poor countries like India and countries in Africa. Only interested in men from wealthy countries. A "foreigner" is a guy with the means to travel to PH and live there without a job. To Filipinos that a rich dude. Same happens with men. Beauty if the first bar a female must cross before a guy will even talk with her. Once the man has established her beauty then the judging on other factors can begin. Most of the items on "the list" in the video are related to money. A guy without money wouldn't meet the list items.
I have seen many many older men and very very young girls, the girls do not look that happy with them. Or they are looking around to see if people are staring at them,,,,,hahahaha
I don't agree with this at all. There is no such thing as immature. Young people act the way they are suppose to. Most Filipinas typically date people their own age. This sound like a bunch of excuses. Financial security is the main reason, we all know this. No need for a 11 min video.

Ask a young Filipina if she would be with someone her dads age or grandfather and most will tell you no!!! That is gross....I am old myself so fully support anyone to do what they want. There are always exceptions....but lets be real about it.
Then why don’t we see older Filipino men with younger Filipinas in age gap relationship in the Philippines?
$$
I'm a younger foriegner living in the Philippines. I've been approached by many of the older foreigner's wives and Gfs.
Hyoergamy is present everywhere and the Phillipines is no exception. Men need to treat their partners fairly and respectfully or else they will stray.
A pity it is in mono sound, only left side sound. A bit painful to be honest.
Sorry about that,I'll have to check my mic settings.
Noticed that.
Someone *always whines* about the sound on content provider videos. Do you REALLY need the sound to be in stereo to listen & watch? Jeez. YT really brings out the goofballs. People who have higher standards for other people than they have for themselves.
@@ScooterOnHisWay2024 No, don´t need stereo. I like to hear with both ears at the same time. Some of us might not have full hearing on both ears, you know? And in my case the left is the weak one (since military service) so, please stop being a complete narcisist!
@@philippinefamilylifewithle2673 Thank you. I have hearing loss on my left ear since my military service so i have problem when only left earphone sounds.
Younger Filipinas like to date older foreigners in most cases because those foreigners will soon expire to leave them set for life.
Why don't young Filipina's choose older Filipino's if their intent is genuine about having a matured man?
It's because only old men go there
well age does'nt matter but what happen to this filipinas if the old foreigner dies? get the another one
Money.
