Seeing her cry broke my heart but I’m glad the firefighters gave her a much safer home as an animal lover it makes me proud to call these people heroes
I don’t speak Bird, let alone Stork, but you can absolutely feel her devastation when she takes in all that remained of her nest. The firefighters were not only were wonderfully compassionate to the fact that her spirit was going to be broken when she discovered the loss, (you even see her startle when she discovered that it was destroyed,) but they also showed a large amount of cross-species-emotional-intelligence by adding what could be salvaged; not only could she use her senses to identify that that was her nest, getting/making her a safe landing/frame/mold/etc., whatever you want to call it, ensured she didn’t miss a breeding cycle due to the lack of an adequate nest/suitable location to construct said nest, (and stork nests are roughly the size of an SUV’s windscreen.) Finally, just an overall wonderful stroke of luck that she had not yet laid that season’s brood. Sometimes luck and timing are The Real MVPs.
Somehow, was good because no eggs were in that nest, at the time when fire-fighters took it down, if bird reacted like that when the nest was destroyed imagine loosing eggs along how harder would be..
The dude in this vid SAYS they came back and did it, but that might be a completely different group of people that did it (I personally don't know). In my country, stork nests are constructed by people too. The put up the metal frame just like you see in the video. The reason is that storks like to nest on chimneys. So in order to ensure that the house is protected from fire or its inhabitants dying of CO poisoning, they provide nesting places on high points that don't bother houses. Lamposts are perfect. They are up high which provides safety and people love the sight of storks coming to visit and raise chick's before trekking to Africa in the winter.

Man I hate when people tell you half truths. This is truly heartwarming

Just like i felt when the bank foreclosed on my home
The firefighters did their job to extinguish fire, and beyond to restore that nest 😢
Somehow, was good because no eggs were in that nest, at the time when fire-fighters took it down, if bird reacted like that when the nest was destroyed imagine loosing eggs along how harder would be..
Meanwhile two houses burned down.
The dude in this vid SAYS they came back and did it, but that might be a completely different group of people that did it (I personally don't know). I'm not saying anything negative about the firefighters, just showing an example of how easy it is to make people believe something on the internet. Our brains are too easy to trick, so we have to willfully exercise skepticism. Otherwise, we'll be prone to believe any harmful lie we hear
This touched every single one of my feels this morning
Wow broke my heart when I say that stork. Glad to see the work being done to help out tall animals.
Glad you showed the ending here.. A lot of people would have just shown it getting blown away with the hose and not shown the fire or the replacement.

Amazing how the context changes so abruptly. Nicely done. Great ending!
During the Gulf War there was a picture shown by the enemy of an American soldier pointing a gun to a week prisoners head.
The American version showed a picture of him zoomed in giving him a drink of water.
So in reality the full picture of that was a prisoner being held at gunpoint while receiving water.

right. i thought for moment that she had eggs in it but she was still building it
Storks don't actually cry lol
This is the reason you should get the whole story in every situation instead of reacting emotionally on what you're shown.
Its a bird. It doesn't cry or laugh.
This what I'm talking about. Humans showing kindness to animals.
That’s partially why we’re here. To help & learn from them. God bless you✝️
