    Grant, you did have to install any app on those phones (iPhone or Android?)? or justo enable NFC feature is enough to get those keys working when the the account asks for the key?

      The reason I'm asking is because my company want a solution without to have to ask the employees to install any app on there phones

      No software needed. I use the nano USB-C with my work laptop and it works great too.

      Yes, most use U2F protocol but check the catalog below for the services you want to use it with to check compatibility.

      Depends, for Google account authentication you can use multiple 2nd factors so if you don't have your key you can authenticate through text message code, Google authen app, another device logged into your account, etc.

      Same here, it is worrying that there seems no activity here and in twitter as well.
      Sure hope and pray he and the people he cares about are well.
      Video reviews, as much as I truly enjoy his direct, honest and educated aproach, are less imporant than real life.

    You should change the title to "Best security for google account (Yubikey Security Key NFC)" really has noting to do with Android or iPhone.

    • @TorchCTI
      @TorchCTI 4 месяца назад

      Yes it does.
      iCloud account = iOS
      Google account = Android
      Use the security key to protect them.

      @@TorchCTI Well I understand what you are trying to say, I know it can protect your Android or IOS devices to a extent. When I log into Windows, you insert your key and login. Without it you cannot log in. When you go to login into Android or IOS you login as normal and that's it. Also this video states nothing on how to secure "Android or IOS" with this key. Yes it will protect your login for the account associated to the device but secure the device. No it doesn't.
