Nice!
Black fixture will go better for your table.
Try the black to see how it looks with the dark table.
The light fixture can be spray painted.
So sorry to hear about your grandma, sending you and your family lots of peace and light.
Thank you so much❤️ that means alot
Sending virtual love due to the passing of your Grandmother.
So beautiful , the black light fixture would really tie it all together !!
we think so too!

I agree with the black light fixture!
I think the black fixture would pop and give a more cohesive look.
I’d also switch out the rug or layer it possibly.
Yea, not digging that rug.
I love the new dining room. I think the large cactus was perfect for the corner of the room.
I like the lite fixture. 👍
Your dinning room looks lovely! I think you should keep the brown light fixture. It is a lot of brown but I think the rug would be what I would change first. Primarily because it’s gets lost because the color of the floor is so close in color.
About your tree, maybe you could get a plant stand? I found one for my short fiddle leaf that’s more of a bush than a tree right now. I’m so glad I did! It was just the height the room needed.
Plant stand is a good idea, and yes I think the rug will have to get swapped out eventually because of how hard it is to scoot the chairs on it :)
Is it an indoor/outdoor rug? Might be nice under the furniture you have on the master bedroom patio area.
Loving the table and chairs 👍 black light fixture would look great with your table.. Have a blessed day 😊🙏
That’s a tough discussion with your light fixtures! I love the vibe the brown one gives but the black would really pop. Can’t wait to see what you decide 😄
I love your dining room! Love both light fixtures but you need the black one for the dining. The brown would be great for your office.
Finally, it’s here the dining room makeover. The dining table and chairs are fabulous. The black light would nicer at that space. Great job Hannah.
Definitely prefer the black light fixture because you have so many large things of a similar tone...light, table top, rug, floor, curtains, picture. It would add some contrast along with chairs and tray. ☺️
I really love your light fixture when the light is off it blends in with the table and the rug stands out. With the light on it blends with the rug and the table stands out. It's perfect in my eyes.
Hannah! It’s been so so long since I’ve been able to sit down and watch YT. Yours is the first I’m choosing to get into tonight! So excited to watch this transformation!
I think the Black Chandelier would look beautiful in there
I love the Dining Room and warmth of the different shades of brown
I say leave the light fixture and do a charcoal slat accent wall on the sliding glass door wall once you get it out.
The black light fixture is my favorite for the dining room.
I'm praying for you and your family. It's so hard to lose precious grandparents. ❤️
Thank you for your prayers!
I’m so sorry I didn’t know you lost your grandparents. So many families have suffered loses. 🙏😢
I think I like the black light fixture for that space ❤️. The room looks wonderful!
That's a beautiful table and chairs set. I would put the black lights in the dining room. Also I love your long dress you wore. The whole dining room turned out beautifully
Love the table and chairs! I like the light fixture but the black one would probably be better.
I am sorry to hear of the passing of your grandmother, may your memories comfort you.
The table is great! I think the black light fixture would go really well. You look beautiful in your dress & the family dinner is so sweet!
OMG do the black one! It will be so much better than the brown one.
We're really leaning towards the black! We'll see
Love the black light fixture better! I agree the room needs some color, maybe a black and cream pattern rug under the table, the one you have blends into the wood floor!
Wow! This room makeover turned out so good! Absolutely gorgeous! I really like the brown light fixture, but it think that the black one would look better in the space!😊👍❤
Oh my gollies, so worth waiting for! I like the continued look of the brown but I think that the black rod iron fixtue would complete the look. I love what you have done as a couple 💑
You're right, the black chandelier for the dining room will break up the brown and bring more of the "rustic" aesthetic you have going on in your home. I think the brown light fixture and jute rug would look fabulous on your back porch when you tackle that project. Your home is beautiful and an incredible inspiration to me. Thanks so much for the awesome videos! 😁👍
This light is pretty and goes good with your decore, but I think the black light would go alot better with your table...omgosh I love your dress!!
I want a jute rug for under my dining table, too! I worry about crumbs and food, though. Let me know how it works out for you, please. Also, I love black lighting. I think the light you chose is so cute, so I suggest putting it in the office and getting the black one for the dining room. Everything looks great!😘💙💜
Such a lovely, calm place to call home. The pictures are thee perfect jewelry for your walls. Lovely....I love it. You both are a example to all of such a happy and loving couple. ❤️❤️
Prayers for your family 🤍
Hannah smart choices as always. I think the black light fixture will look nice in the dining room. It'll break up the wood tones. I love your dress too.
Yes we thinks so too :) thank you!
I'm voting for the black light fixture for the dining room.
The jute rug is fine! I love that table!! And, yes the chairs are perfect for it. The second bit of greenery looked best in the white vase.
That black light will make all the other black stand out better. Yes for the black light for me.
I agree the black light fixture would look better. I love the dining table!!! And the chairs. Everything looks so pretty. Minus the poor little Charlie Brown tree. Lol.
Cute light but the black one would def be my pick for the space!
We are leaning towards the black👍🏼
Where did you get your dress? It is absolutely beautiful ❤️
Target, thank you!❤️
Perfect dress!
Yes!! I was going to mention that too.🙂 The dress and the way she did her hair. Very fancy and beautiful.🙂
I love the new dining room furniture. I think the black light fixture would bring everything together.
For the rug, maybe you should sew black fabric trim around the edges to accentuate the difference between the floor and the rug.
The dining room is stunning. I love the table and chairs and the light above it is perfect, don’t change it!
I love that light fixture in your dining room. I would switch out the rug to like a deep emerald green. With all the plants you have and greenery I think it would complement all the wood tones.
It’s beautiful, now you need a buffet to help fill up the space. I think you need the black chandelier
The room is lovely. Very inviting and peaceful. I like the light fixture. Everyone is now going for black. This light is different and adds to the pleasing ambiance.
Wow....Just WOW! A beautiful transformation from when you purchased the house. Love the calm beauty of the dining room. Like both light fixtures, but I favor the look the black metal will add and tie in with the chairs and table legs. Brilliant that you also purchased the same table and chairs for the porch. If you have extra large family gatherings, you can put the tables together end to end.
I like the “basket” light fixture!! The black chairs and table legs break up all the brown tones. Very nice!
I LOVE the dining room table!! Loved both overhead lights, but the black one you showed is so elegant and yet simple. It would look so nice in your dining room. You have done such a beautiful job decorating this home Hannah. ❤
Looks beautiful. I agree about removing the sliders it will make a huge difference. The rod iron light fixture would tie in with your table bottom. Great team work😊
Table is angular as are the pictures and rug.... the round chair backs and the round light fixture are the softness needed. Your colors work together wonderfully! The cactus is stagnant, no real flow as your table “plants” or the tree have, that you bought. A bigger/taller “tree” would work better. I love what you guys have done!
I am so sorry for your loss. May God give you peace in your heart. The dining room looks absolutely amazing. I just love your house. Blessings 🙏🏻❤️🌹
Beautiful!! I like the black dining light. Breaks up so much brown. And the brown light would look awesome in your office!! Love your transformation!!
Looks beautiful. I’d prefer the black chandelier & I never like a rug in the dining room especially with little kids 😃
It looks beautiful. I think either chandelier would be fine. Depends on the look you are going for. The one you have looks boho/very casual but the black wrought iron is more dressed up.
I absolutely love 💕 the new light fixture. It brings the texture all together. It’s a beautiful room..
I love the neutral look for the dining room, it gives you the possibilities of adding colour as and when you need it.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family,so sorry about the loss of your Grandmother. Your dining room looks so nice, love the table and chairs.
Love your dining room! Just can't believe how far your home has come since you bought it. It is beautiful & you have done such an amazing job.
I think the textured chandy is beautiful and goes perfectly with the natural textured rug and the wood color. You can add color with bright artwork that you can switch out as you like (try painting your own - free your inner artist with some acrylic paints from a store that stocks "hobby" products) and some inexpensive blank new canvases or paint right over old canvases from a thrift store. Add more color in your accessories on the table top, too. Bland drapes must go. If you want light filtering you can go semi-sheer in color, but better yet would be a faux silk shatung look with drapes hung much higher (as close to the ceiling as possible) and wider so that either side of your window is flanked but still enough panels to provide a lush look when the panels are closed over the window in the evening or if you want to block out too much bright sunshine during the day. Since you're going to take out the patio door and turn that into a blank wall, it's even more important to play up the remaining window you will have.
Have you thought of removing the wall between kitchen and dining room and have huge kitchen island. It would open up entire house.
Too cute the boys play with the boxes. The black chandelier would look great. Tie in with the colour of the chairs and table legs.
So sorry to hear about your grandma. She will be with you in everything you do. And she will be proud. ❤
Love how it turned out. The before and after a are always my favorite. The black light would look great.
Why was I cheerin o on when you and your husband was taking the wrapping off the table legs and then remembered that it was sped up🤣🤣...I loved the hug he gave you when you took chairs out of the box😍😍😍
The furniture is beautiful! So sweet how the boys played in the boxes.
I love your table! Nice choice. I love watching your house bloom into a beautiful home!
As for the light fixture, my vote is for the black light. To me, it would be more proportional, and the black will tie back to the chairs, and table legs.
The only other thing I might have done differently , is to have bench seating on one side. It is so easy for kids just to slide into their place, without having to worry about moving the chairs.
This is just a personal preference. If you're happy, I'm happy!
And I love the verses at the end too 😌
Love it.....very calming....not too busy. You have a real knack for this!! GOD BLESS YOU AND KEEP YOU and your precious little ones and hubby.💝
I think the black fixture would look amazing in the dining room. I love the wicker light also, but more for your office.
Love it I thinks the black light fixture would look nice. Bring the black up from the chairs.
The black chairs break up all the brown! Add more plants and wall hangings! Love it!!
I looove it so much, beautiful! You have done an amazing job with your house!
Thank you❤️
I personally love the light fixture as it is 🤷♀️ 😍, but I also like the suggestion to spray paint that one black. I LOVE the whole ensemble! The whole house is just gorgeous!
I love it! I like both the light fixtures. I don’t think it’s too much brown. Everything goes together nicely. You can get some plastic sliders to mail into the chairs.
Isn't it amazing how a cardboard box can give so much joy to your children. ❤ I think the black light fixture would tie in with the table better. I think the size of the fixture you have now is to small. Love the dining room. 😍
Light looks good. You can add color with accessories. Keep the rug and add sliders to the chair legs.
Seeing your family saying grace and holding hands makes me happy! My condolences to your family. Girl, In my part is AZ it doesn’t snow ❄️ but good grief, it was so cold today!
Love the new dining room table, great style! I like the black chandelier better, more contrast and works the legs of the table!
I like the black light fixture. Matches the table legs and chairs
So very sorry for your loss..Y’all have put new life in this house.I know it’s been a long year , but it has been a wonderful adventure and i’m sure you’ve learned more than you ever thought you would about remodeling a whole house. You have done a wonderful job and I have enjoyed coming along for the ride🙂🏠🏡
Thank you❤️
It has been an adventure for sure and we've learned alot, thank You for coming along for the ride it's been so much fun to share it with everyone!
I think I like the black light fixture, because when you added the black chairs it really made a difference, but whatever your decision it will be a good one! Another fine job, well done. Have been loving the reno videos! Thanks so much for sharing!
The light fixture fits just right! Not too much brown just perfect, loved it
So sorry for the loss of your grandmother. The dining room makerover came out owesoming beautiful!!
I think for contrast, the black light, I love the table!
Hannah I love that you pray before dinner. The black light will tie better with the beautiful table and chairs and also consider to replace the rug. I love the jude ruck but it blends with the floor and doesn't make a statement. What a great family you are. Keep going. The house is stunning and i love your taste. 💖💖💖👏👏👏
Yes, the BLACK light fixture! Love all the work y’all have done on your home ❤️
It looks beautiful. I agree that the black light would tie it all together.
Thanks for sharing.
I actually really like the wood table and wood floors and then the jute rug with the natural looking light fixture. It's "a lot" of brown, but I think it really looks cohesive and beautiful!
The Sunni g room table & chairs are gorgeous. I also love the light fixture; it’s amazing. I’m sure you can make it work with some other decorations. The dinning room is looking great 😊
The table is beautiful. See if you can find metal or hard plastic bottoms for the chair legs, like those pads that are felt to protect wood floors. They help the chairs slide on carpet.
Beautiful! If you decide to change anything then try the rug first. I know people choose the black light fixture, but I love the brown one!
The space looks beautiful! I would do the black light fixture. The brown one is pretty but it looks like a dust collector. It would be nice to take out the sliding door on the back wall and replace it with a transom window for added light. You can also layer a rug on top of the jute rug to help with slide. It’s a great look. 🙂
Looks beautiful! I would do the black light 💡🥰
The black accents of the dining setting really ground the space nicely and even though the jute rug is similar in colour to the flooring, the added texture is appealing as is the textured element of the pendant light shade above. Overall, it's a very calm space :)
I think the brown light fixture works well and really balances the neutral tones in top of the room. The black is a lovely accent piece, but with the black table legs, chairs, curtain rod and decor on the table, I think a black chandelier may be a bit much personally 😄 if anything, if you add in a server at a later stage, add in a black framed mirror above it, black decor on it or even black handles on the server 😄 best of luck! It’s looking absolutely beautiful
It looks great, very serene. Very easy to make changes to add color, if you want. Love it.
Love the dining room. The black fixture would go really well with the dining room table.
The black light will match the table legs.and chairs.will be a better match. But it's your decision, what you think is better.I love it.
Love love love that light fitting. It's a keeper
Yes!! I’ve been waiting on this. I haven’t watched it yet and I already know I’m going to love it💕
I think everything you do is fabulous. You and your family are my absolute favorites to watch. Never have a disappointing video. God Bless and you guys are in my prayers.
Loving the dining room; the table and chairs are gorgeous!!! I think I’d go with the black chandelier, especially when you bring that buffet in. It will look like “simple elegance”. I can just see a large “fiddle leaf” plant in that corner! I am so excited for you and Jaylen with this BEAUTIFUL home you two have renovated. I pray you both will enjoy the fruits of your labor. You all have done a marvelous job! Can’t wait for the next video . . . whatever it is. Blessings, Doris @ San Diego
