    You are really underselling this lower, like yeah Ambi is nice, and the bolt release can be accomplished by the Bad lever, but the 1 feature that makes the ADAC worth it, and IMO one of the BIGGEST advancment in Stoner's design in 50 year or W/E is the fact that the Mag Release locks the bolt back, so you have 1 button to clear malfunction instead of a weird 3 handed fumble fudge under stress. You pair the ADAC with a Gibbz Side charging upper and that multiplies its effectiveness.

      @@washingtoncommandcenter5541 Wasn’t trying to undersell it. I think it’s the best ambi lower and if I wanted another I’d probably buy this again. I do like that the mag release locks back the bolt, that’s a really cool feature and useful for malfunctions for sure. Not a fan of side charging uppers personally but yes it’s a great lower. The price is just expensive and you can get about the same effectiveness from a 150$ aero upper and a bad lever. I like them a lot, just wasn’t necessary for me. I wish I could’ve kept it though.

      @@GearAndGuns I came from many years of a Robinson XCR being my go to before is started building ARs.
      So I'm more comfortable with side-chargers and find them more intuitive, easier to use, and I like being able to run the gun without having to come up off the sights. Gibbz G4 non-reciprocating left side charging upper combined with the ADAC it further simplifies a high-stress potentially life saving process. I even have ADACs on my Virtuses, and them, along with Virtus's thick I.D. SD rails that fit my fat Hyperion and Nelson Cans and the trouble is went through to put a RB/Tommy E3 safety into them have kept me from even considering the Spear LT. Alone, both are my favorite Upper/Lower but they're even better together.
      If Radian added the FAR superior Fal/XCR/ACR/Bren type bolt release like RRA LAR-8 or Bushmaster BAR-10s had, to the ADAC,
      it would add another benefit outside of the Dual Action catch for right handed shooters and IMO make it the perfect lower.
      OR IMO if Robinson/Bren could license the dual action catch(along with Robinson moving from monolithic to interchangeable rails) they could be the best rifles period, that's how beneficial I think that function is lol

      @@washingtoncommandcenter5541 I understand how side charging handles can be easier for you. New spear lts are decent. Yeah that adac bolt release is kinda hard to hit. I’m not super familiar with some of those firearms but I hear what you’re saying.

      @@GearAndGuns The Bolt catch/Release are located at the bottom or inside the trigger guard for all of them and easy to get to without breaking your grip. the Rock River LAR-8 and Bushmaster Bar-10 are AR-10 pattern guns that have FAL style Bolt catches in front of the trigger and also take fal mags.

    With a grip that allows higher hand placement, it's easier to hit the right bolt-release.

    I don't like the tabbed pin. If you use a drop in trigger you do get the antiwalk part but the lower one still needs to be swapped. The standard mag release is ok at best. I would like an oversized one to allow for a shorter reach. I like that the serial is on top and well the other controls are oversized

      @GearAndGuns  3 месяца назад

      @@justavillain I ended up just using both pins that came with the geissele trigger, tabbed is a cool feature though. The standard mag release has worked for me but this one feels like a slight improvement from the standard. I’d like to try an oversized sometime, magoul one looks decent. Shorter reach makes sense. I understand your reasoning though. This was the best I’ve seen and radian makes some good stuff. There’s a decent amount of ambi lowers on the market now.

    From the sounds of it you would probably like the AMV ambidextrous lower bedroom or better yet for a better price you can get The Griffin armament MK2 which is the same thing as the AMD but cheaper

    Love it. Can you show it with different brand uppers on it? I do not like radian handguards. As for the bad lever. It is garbage in comparison to the EBR.

      @@tpcleaning640 I would but I actually sold it. Sorry I can’t show more of it, I was using it on a bcm 14.5. Switched back to the aero precision lower. I wasn’t aware of the ebr. I like how it goes into the bolt release slot in the lower instead of attaching onto the bolt release. With all the cut outs it does look like it could break easily though. The good thing about the bad lever is it’s one solid piece. Thanks for sharing about the ebr, I’d like to try it sometime.
