Dear Fr Warner - the confrontation between the prophets Jeremiah & Hananiah reveals that while Hananiah declares to the people soothing words of quick relief & restoration, Jeremiah upholds God's message of enduring hardships. We learn the importance of steadfastness in truth & the danger of believing in false teachings that promise easy solutions in time of distress. We need to examine our hearts that the messages come from God. Thank you for your enlightening teaching & blessing us. Praying for God's blessings & healing grace to be upon you. 🙏 💞
Today we learn about the difference in the approach of Prophet Jeremiah and Prophet Hananiah.The Prophet Jeremiah spoke the truth roaming about with the massive yoke as an Object lesson but The Prophet Hanania believed in putting on the icing on the bitter pill.The advice given to the people by Prophet Hananiah was not the correct one and probably was meant to suit his ego.Amen- So be it - Go be it.The words are meant to help us to be spiritual. Time often tells us that The Prophets had prophesied famine ,hardships and this came through. Prophet Hananiah broke the yoke that Prophet Jeremiah was using on his neck which was actually an object lesson God disciplines our actions. The Word of the Lord came to Prophet Jeremiah and told him that the broken wooden yoke would be replaced by a heavier yoke- an iron yoke My takeaway for today- When asked to make a choice, should I go to Jeremiah's Church or Hananiah 's Church,I will choose the narrow gate and go along the direction give by Prophet Jeremiah. May the Precious Blood flowing from the Sacred Wounds of Jesus cover you and wash away all illness Fr.Warner. I will also pray for those who are sick and for those who are experiencing sadness due to the death of their loved ones May the Holy Spirit continue to inspire and guide you Fr.Warner ✨️
Dear Father Warner thank you for your teaching from the book of Jeremiah. I have heard this reading so often and found it so ambiguous in the past. Thank you for your wonderful explanation and cautioning us not to follow false prophets. I often wonder why it is so difficult for people to trust and love God supremely as he asks us for so little. If we are patient and trust in God he always shows us the way. I am praying for you and often say a decade of the rosary for your health to improve. Your teachings inspire me to have deeper faith in Our Lord.

This teaching warns of false prophets like Hananiah and also of any other false prophets may mislead us us too so also the modern happening may mislead our clergy so only when his message comes true can it be known that's it's from God so Lord help us understand Gr yr teaching made it easy to follow the reading
1John 4: Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are of God; for many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit which confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, 3 and every spirit which does not confess Jesus is not of God. This is the spirit of antichrist, of which you heard that it was coming, and now it is in the world already. Holy spirit help us with the wisdom knowledge understanding we need to know what is from our Lord and what is not from our Lord
