@denilsonandre8300 unfortunately it sounds like the lucky of the draw. I am going to disassemble this old water pump and find the issue. I’d be willing to be that bmw uses subpar bearings that wear prematurely
Was there white smoke out of tail pipe think im having same issue with mine was there signs of visible leak ? Or how did you figure out it was water pump?
@@DriveDynamicsAz no white smoke. After a hard pull, I parked in the garage and my water pump started leaking from the weep whole at the bottom of the water pump. Smoke from the exhaust is an other issue. Color and scent of smoke will tell you your issue
Did you overheat the engine?
@@crispyone2564 it did not. The water pump gave out as soon as I got into my garage
@ NICE!
My water pump died twice in less than 6 months, any ideas of what the cause is ?

how many miles on the car?
@@aeroflopper 74k miles
@brianRED it's time then, 45 to 60 thousand is it's service life.
26lbs on stock turbo?
@ just a tad😬
Amazing BMW never can to make a part last like Toyota forever. What is an issue to put a high-quality bearing on the water pump.
Weird right? I've pulled water pumps off 40 plus year old Chevys' that held up better than this haha
Toyota water pump failure is as common as bmw for the last 15 years.
@@powayimports4175 I have 295k miles on my 2011 Toyota 2GR-FE 3.5L V-6, no problems with the water pump or anything with the engine...ever.
