We have a 14ft Mickey that went bad on us 2 years ago. I finally tracked down and replacement motor and watched your video. Just seeing that the lights have to go through the gasket was priceless as I am sure I would have screwed it up without seeing that. Thanks for posting.
Thank you for your video and the quick tip on fuses in the plug. Our beloved Halloween double headed Dragan shall rise again next season! It quit on us 2 days before a big move and Halloween night.
Thank you for this video! My inflatable polar bear, no longer available, stopped working after a heavy, heavy rainstorm. He's been around about ten years and is now a family tradition. I wouldn't have thought about the fuse, and was about to tear the whole motor apart. Nope! It was the fuse. You saved me lots of work and money. Merry Christmas!
Nice job! Wish I would have seen this before I threw the inflatable out! Oh well. Interesting about the fuse in the plug as well. Thanks for walking us through the fix, I will remember this in case my other inflatables have issues.
Thank you! I listened carefully and caught some of your first words: Check the fuse. My kids now think I'm a genius. "Just a Christmas miracle," I replied. I'll tell them the truth when they're older.
So guys I actually have another solution. Me and my father just fixed a hot air balloon snowman which the Motor was all rusted inside. If you somehow have a bad inflatable that is old and has a tornado fan in it and you don’t really need that one anymore you can tear out the fan out of that one and put it in the new one that needs replacing. Now not all tornado fans fit some are to wide. But I had a 2007 Gemmy inflatable that was worn down and couldn’t hold air anymore but the fan still worked so me and my dad ripped that one out of the 07 one and put it in the new one and it inflates perfectly I honestly didn’t think the fan would fit but hey it did and it inflates that’s all that matters and it was for free! So if you have one you don’t need anymore with a fan that still works, try what I did and see if it works! Hope this helps! -Aidan
I want my dad to do that because our 6ft frosty the snowman every time I turn him on the fan is wobbling and the fan is not blowing and I always have to get to work when I fix him if you move him he makes a loud noise that the fan is not blowing and if you fix him he goes back to blowing up thanks for the video
Brent you are totally right I forgot that but when I do them I just mark the inflatable with a sharpie marker where the cord comes to the base so it lines up. Thanks hope this helps someone out.
Hello I have a few Christmas inflatables that don't fully inflate or stand up. I also have snow globe inflatables that won't circulate the snow. What is your email? If it's ok to ask where are you located? I'd really like to try and fix them. ☹️
