I've no doubt made at least one or two comments over this past year about the sheer brilliance of Larmour in these clips but, without checking, I'll quite happily add another, since the skill set of this young lad makes me so proud to be Irish & know that...(feck the failures of RWC19)....we still have the quality to rattle some cages in both European Championship matches & the oncoming "6 Nations".!!! That..trace back, turn, kick...chase, sprint,...SCOOP at breakneck speed & score a sweeter than sweet try against Scarlets, I'll never tire of watching..... Eat yer heart out Kolbe....yer a fine "Stepper" but there's a new kid on the scene.....who "Outshines" you.!!! Keep 'er lit Jordan, keep doing all that yer best at, keep using yer "Initiative" irrespective of all that big Andy might demand....yer a natural Attacker so just "Go Fer It" & savour every moment.! Roll on the "6 Nations"...can't wait to see yer bouts of sheer "Brilliance".!!! Just "Give It A Lash Boy"...we're all behind you... N.S.E.& W.!!!
Jeeeeezze.!!! What a treat it is to see this guy in full flow.! He's got everything...Quick thinker, Quick pace & one of the best Quick Steppers in World rugby today.!! That Kick, chase & scoop try against Scarlets was sheer clinical perfection...to the "Nth Degree".!!! Brilliant to watch & great to know that he's just one of the many amazing young guns & new wave of players lining up to wear the GREEN in the months to come. Can't wait to see the likes of Larmour, Earls, Stockdale, Carbery, Ringrose, et al, together with our trusty experienced stalwarts line up for the trip to Japan & I'm sure we'll be in for some more of this young guy's blazing brilliance in the World Cup. COYBIG.!!! THE ENTIRE IRISH NATION & UNIVERSAL IRISH DIASPORA ARE ALL BEHIND YOU. GIVE IT WAN HELLUVA LASH IN JAPAN. COYBIG.!!!
Yes, everyone is talking about his pace and stepping. Those are great attributes, but the most impressive thing for me was the one-handed scoop. Very few players try that. Most will kick it forward and try to flop on the ball in goal. Even the likes of Beauden Barrett go for the more conservative approach. The only ones who try one-handed scoops are those who are supremely confident in their coordination at speed. This makes me think that there is so much more to Larmour that he knows he can do that we haven't even seen.
As a kiwi who has seen a lot of incredible outside backs, I really want to see this guy play against New Zealand in the quarter finals. I want to see how amazing he is. People say he is a freak like Christian Cullen or Damian McKenzie and Larmour's tries certainly show that he is capable of amazing tries. He has amazing confidence to even think he can side-step half the team (which he actually pulls off). But he doesn't have the most natural running technique; he seems quite hunched over which makes me think it's hard for him to change his direction. He also doesn't look that fast. I know that these things can be deceptive and I'm not insulting him (underestimate him at your/our peril, I guess).
We could've used him perhaps! I think the running style might be a remnant from his underage hockey days. The lad was poised to be an international hockey player too, but went with rugby instead. It'd also explain his acceleration rather than having pure pace.
@@gogogamma1186 , I thought he played really well in the quarter final against NZ. Ireland play such a structured style that sometimes you need someone who can create some chaos in opposition defences. I know Kearney and Sexton are great players, but I felt Ireland were more dangerous when Larmour and Carberry were playing
Exciting talent. Needs to learn how to own the sky like Kearney, which showed in recent internationals is his weakness and where Byrne now back playing has it over him.
Great vid. Let's hope there is loads more highlights to put in come the end of the season. Him Stockdale and Lowry will be a nightmare to play against In a few years
That first try in the video against Ulster is actually pure pornography. Stockdale should report that one because damn son, he got absolutely robbed. The future.
Yep, but since he generally plays FB and not W his agilty is more important at that more central position, generating so many line breaks that the just opens the play every time he gets the ball. Amazing ankle-breaking talent, this lad.
Why do they keep calling his name L' amour or some other French pronounciation? It's not French, it's pronounced Larmer like farmer. Look up notable figures with that surname and they're all Irish. It's an Irish surname.
Because English is so absurd when it comes to pronounciation . As a foreigner I hsve many troubles to know how to pronounce correctly a new word. Lamur, larmar, larmer, lamor.. who knows honestly
And they say Irish Rugby is predictable.... hah, bring on RWC2019.... Try Fest awaits. We had a 'scheduled' poor 6N, if you though O'Driscoll was good.... wait til you see whats coming behind him... We will rip it up this Autumn. No Question...
He's compared to Christian Cullen? Uhh.... I'll wait a little bit longer. I don't see anything that I haven't seen hundreds of times before. Hope he does well for Ireland
I can’t think of a player with a better step then Larmour. It’s actually terrifying, Ireland have a gem in him 👍🏽
I’ve watched this a 1000 times he’s my fav player and I’m from Leinster!
That scoop reminded me of Brian odriscolls scoop

Best wing ever
This lad has a bright future people keep putting so much pressure on him but he will be one hell of a player at international level in a few years 😊
Exactly lad

Amazing footwork for a big man, a pleasure to watch this footage 👍
Great video mate I can watch him over and over and over again
Nice one mate! Hate watching them clips against Ulster though:(
Cheers hahaha, I'll have to do an Addison one too

Don't forget Ringrose and Carbery, exciting times
You could make a highlight reel about this guy after every game, he's just that good.
JORDAN LAMOOOUR
Best wing ever since he had started
What a talent.
He was also amazing at the weekend !
Kearney has had one of the great careers as our no.1 choice & just when we needed it along comes Kearney 2.0.
That first try in the video against Ulster is actually pure pornography. Stockdale should report that one because damn son, he got absolutely robbed. The future.
I enjoy watching this guy play, very dynamic, great steps, great acceleration
He maybe lacks of pure speed but wow !

Nice vid! You need to upload more
Replace the clip at 3:41 with his step vs Underhill in the game vs Bath at you got yourself a stew going.
Larmour vs Stockdale footwork battle... Who wins 🤔🤔🤔 (great vid. Hadn't seen half of these clips before! 🤗)
1.15 just brilliant
rory Carroll 1:15
Hate the people who pronounced it la mor
They think it's French when all the notable people in history with the surname are Irish.
Machine
Can u make another garry ringrose one

It's an Anglo-Irish surname at best, more Norman-Scots in origin.
Lets do a DNA test on the guy just to prove how Irish he is...

Do you think you could do a Jerry Flannery or Devon Toner tribute , oh wait never mind 🤔,.

Robert McFarlane 🇯🇵
It's us in a WC hahhahahahhaa
This comment didn't age well.
The new campese! But better
Goose step for the win
his try against the all blacks really showed he is the real deal. nobody does that against them
Last try was Zebo losing his job.
2:35 la mor, the way he says it is so annoying
I wonder if you will see this
@@eannahanley5201 probz not
Fantastic player but I think he's a more natural Lock. Being played way out of position on the wing.
Lock what are you on about😂😂
He's compared to Christian Cullen? Uhh.... I'll wait a little bit longer. I don't see anything that I haven't seen hundreds of times before. Hope he does well for Ireland
He is an amazing player but personally I think that he is not a winger he is more of a 15
Nice video except for that bit a 4:30
Not in AFs list as first choice. Also needs to up his game in aerial combat
Gordan llama, as they say in Oz
oops sorry that was Stockdale. but Lamour is a class act
Jordan lourmour is my cousin no joke
really
what kind of a person puts Rihannah to sports highlights, especially rugby
just leave it with the commentary
Not sure he grounded the one against Ulster
Is he still sleeping from last week ?
Italy are a tier 3 nation
Are Scarlets?
Always some muppet trying to shoot down others
@@declanmcdonnell6965 ah yeah but the state of Italy's defence is worth mentioning too.
Shudda passed ball on that last try
What are people doing say his name like “lamore” its “larmer”.
No it’s not it is Larmour
La-Moore
Why do people insist on a shit music mix!
