This would have been better if it was like about an hour you know cuz that is a mess and that's just means you're going to fly through it..
1. As host of party, we should never expect our guests to assist in clean up.
2. Yes to cleaning containers before and after use.
Right I hve had parties never asked a guest to help me clean. If we finish late I will clean in the morning.
I'm in camp: I leave places out for your rubbish/trash, please use them. Anything else is on me for hosting lol.
Unless you do something waaaay out of order, like spray my wall in beer, then that's on you

I want to go to one of Jessica's parties LOL!!....for me cleaning depends on the type of party....usually I always tidy the kitchen but then take the decorations down the day after. If there is drinking involved....it is always the next day!
That was such a mess but sooooo satisfying seeing the afters! If I use something that is reusable and I put food on it then I am gonna wash it before I put it away. I don’t care if people think I am wasting water or not, I pay for it so I’ll do it my way. Great video!

Definitely love the way you clean as we have similar methods. I definitely wash allllll my trays and re-wash when bringing them back out. Please don’t listen to those who don’t wash their trays 🤢🤮. At least I know that if I were to come to your house I would trust to eat off of your dining wear. Keep doing you that is why people keep coming back!!! 😘
Ugh...it's just awful that you have to state all of that before a video. People are just awful for picking on you and your family for having a mess after a party. They seriously need to get a life. I always wash part supplies that I’m saving after the party and over again when I next use them. I keep what I can in a plastic tote but still I wash everything before and after. I love your videos. They are so motivating. I’m watching and loading the dishwasher 🙂

I always clean platters etc after use ! Good job cleaning. Looks like it was probably a fun party!! I typically try and clean as much as I can after a party but if party goes late then “no”. Your home is gorgeous and set up well for entertaining.

When I have parties, I wash the platters and put them up. That’s what the china cabinet was for back in the days (😂I’m old, I’m 42) for your special dishes for the holidays and gatherings. You keep your dishes, you’re awesome. You’re not the only one ❤️

I love your intro, and I’m the same way, even if I’m not recording a video, I don’t mind cleaning up after a party, it’s so satisfying
For me it depends in the party...how late it goes...how big of a mess etc. I like to start out the evening with an empty dishwasher so I can just put dirty dishes in it. But if I am super tired I will just put leftover food in the fridge and call it a night. But I ALWAYS make sure there is a clear path to the coffee pot for the next morning. Don't expect me to do any deep cleaning without my elixir of life.

So satisfying!! And yes, I save all the buckets for drinks and platters and the big bowls for chips and such. And I DO wash them before storing them, and then again before using them at a later date. And exactly for the reasons you said. I’m always careful about saving water in other ways though. I don’t run my dishwasher or washing machine without a full load. I water my lawn right before dawn so the water has a change to soak into the ground before the sun comes out. I only wash my hair once every few days. We have to pick our battles. If you leave food in that stuff and put it in your pantry, it will attract insects. Looks like it was an awesome party!!

I always clean up after the party and i am almost alone as it is quicker. and everyone else is asleep. Issues knowing something needs to be clean and keep me away from sleeping lol

Karen's like to be so picky 🙄 I definitely clean up after the party. We don't have a very big place so it's easy. If there's alcohol I can't leave it out. I hate the smell of alcohol in the air the morning after. And love waking up to a clean kitchen. Just me though. For you i could see waiting to film which i would too! Agreed! Next day cleaning. We are usually a couple liquor bottles in to clean at night 🤣
I do a little after and a rest the next day for cleaning! I will make sure all food and drink items are drained/thrown out or put away in the fridge, just so 1. the cat doesnt get to them, 2. i dont wake up to any lingering smells. then as for like messes and any thing else those can totally wait for the next day!
Yessss what a good video. I used to like getting up before my parents after they'd host a big party and clean up (but I liked to do it in the silence). It's satisfying to group off the trash and stuff!

So glad to see you doing a video I've missed you. Once I moved in my own place I bought me a o-cedar mop and only thing they asked me to use for my floors was bona or method wood bc I have vinyl planks. I love how it gives me a shiney performance. I reuse party planner and yes I do wash them again when having friends over. Lovely video of it being clean again.

Mess after Party is normal. After our housewarming party (which was also my 21st birthday party), our bathroom door was crashed, confetti everywhere and the floor was sticky from spilled drinks. Best party ever 😂
Girl you are not the only one that washes them after a use or before using them. Like you said they get dusty even if they are stored and after a party they get dirty. I only throw them away if they are broken or they are really dirty. Love your cleaning videos by the way especially after parties they just makes me want to clean lol.
You’re not the only one Jess. Unless the platter, bowl, container is broken/damaged, I keep it to reuse another time. And I do clean it before and after use because like you said, dust collects before and food debris after

We celebrated my 6th birthday with a homemade cake, ice cream, a couple of presents, and immediate family sitting down to dinner. The men took the children out for a walk while the women cleaned up and shared a cup of coffee in the ensuing quiet!

I personally wash before and after cabinet storage as well. That is their one thing about cleaning videos that annoys me is when people complain ab out water usage. I KNOW WE SHOULD conserve but sometimes it is so much easier to just go with the flow. Love your content !
