*litteraly would be crazy if Naval Action rights n shit was given to the company who made this game* *played a lot and can attest they are in fact REALLY COMPETENT lol*
This is a very interesting game for sure! For as long as I remember, I've always been looking for that perfect age of sail game. Its a shame that more open world / multiplayer games don't get made around this era. Great video though, I think the gun aiming is pretty interesting. Reminds me of an April fools event for War Thunder in which you could use the Golden Hinde. I wonder if that's where the inspiration came from as it looks pretty spot on 😅
Hello, i have installed the game but it crash at launch after the cinematic. i can't make a post on the forum because you must make the subscribed in the game ... someone help please? it's maybe the fact that the game is not launch in fullscreen. thanks.
*anyone hesitating just GO already* *playing fully F2P and so far i've never spent so much hours in a row since the day i discovered GTA SA (i know i know graphically speaking it was meh if you compare to GTA 4 & 5 but the gameplay man.. ohhh the gameplay)* anyway *it's gonna be released on Steam soon* *only thing right now that you can gain with money on ths game are few ships (with starter and idk the name packs in store and they are not crazy good or anything, you just progression quicker and easier basically) and things like ship colors and sails colors* *otherwise it's entirely F2P friendly, personally didn't spend a dime and got like 15 ships inc a HMS Victory* *please just try it out instead of downloading any old games if you don't know where to go* *you can thank, not me, but the developpers of the game later :D*
Looks good but I'd like to see a napoleonic/historical element, as in late 18th century (Naval Action, yes). But it looks good, not the usual totally ridiculous Pirate Fantasy shit.
OpPs You made a Mistake! You do not lose the ship if the Integrity goes down, because you can repair it in port. Damage costs vary certain materials for each ship and can accumulate the cost unless addressed. Also Damage to integrity happens only in severe fight with large opponents not all the time. What is adorable is when you repair the ship in port little boats come around your ship to conduct repair. Evetime you sink your ship it respawns to nearest port. If you sail your row boat to another port that is your option. When your integrity is to low , you have three choices, Repair it, Break it up for parts, or just leave it in port damaged (game will not let you use it until repaired entirely), so you never actually lose the ship. I have never lost a ship due to integrity even when I lost all integrity. The repair option becomes red then click it to access repair menu, I also Left NA after all the bs they are doing. I enjoy this game more. Also When build/craft a ship you can see it being built in port in the slipway. To craft a Le Sirene takes about about 4 hours construction time. But you can leave port in another boat does not effect construction even if you get sunk in the other boat. I think you can close the game without effecting the construction. Captured NPC are a different story, You can capture three with the perk. They follow you around the map as a fleet with shields on top. You can order them to attack a target with Round shot/grape shot/chain shot or retreat. You can't mode them , you can't sell them. You can fix them or break them up for parts. They are easy to capture in boarding once the enemies crew becomes lower then yours. Don't get to much attached to them, they have a short life span since the get sunk a lot. If your ship ventures to far ahead until you lose them on your map then you lose them. If your ship get sunk you lose them. Also beware Some large ships cannot sail into shallow area including large NPC captured ships. Large NPC cap fleet ships usually wait for you outside a shallow port.
@@norseman_5334 Thank you I'm glad to be help. I played this game heavy for over about a Month (I could no longer take NA after they gutted NA economy). This WOSB Took a lot r/d , experimentation on my own to learn it. Their furom is very helpful once you translate it. But a lot things unkown. Thank you for writing about it since it is in Russian. If you need any help PM me .
Thanks for the review! Another game you might want to check out is 'Skull and Bones'. I'm not sure when it'll be released, but the previews I've seen so far look intriguing.
Looks interesting, I am sure this game will do much better job as a free to play title compared to Naval Action. On the other hand this game crashes in my pc during initial loading screen.
Why is almost every single pirate game Russian, it's so weird. Imagine if all Mountaineering games were made by Belgians, or if all desert based games were made by Norwegians
I mostly made thickness and speed builds. So agree to that part. The biggest gripe i have is that once again the ripout and change core mechanics of what is supposed to be a released game. They have done this soo often and each time with impact on the regular playerbase. People losing months of grind and such. Now with an early acces game that’s always going to a risk. But when a game is launched after years in EA you expect them to add features/elements, and not still be fumbling around with the core mechanics. Honestly I not saying the patches themselves are good or bad. They’re just not to my liking. And I’m done spending more time on a game where the Dev(s) still haven’t figured out what they actually want from the game… besides making money ofc.
@@norseman_5334 that's the best part, they are not doing money, that why they want to kill the game I guess, but I mess the speed too, christian slower then victory's, implacs withe same speed as a land turtle, was got completely throwed out of the game, but still funny some times. I'm just trying to enjoy the last moments of this game cause I know will take alot of time or never will be a game like this
Well the new DLC ships look a bit OP on the paper (haven’t tried or fought them). But the rest… not really, you can craft better ships ingame. Though it’s through grind. But the f2p server is is bit unbalanced I agree. I find it odd that they don’t use the free to play server as a gateway to the war and peace servers🤷🏼♂️
Sounds interesting, I will definitely keep an eye on this game. Thank you for the recommendation
Will be looking for you then😃

It might actually be where they got it from😅

Sorry i cant help with this
10 minutes into the video and i detected a seafight in 3d, guessing it has the same very heavy monetization everywhere
Yeah
something to play while sailing in NA lmao
That’s true😅

It is actually😃
@@norseman_5334 is it just me or does the sign up feel a lil unsafe
Well bring hard to read so yeah. But i’ve had no issues thus far☺️
A game where you need a lot of money. Sailing ships are like motorboats.
Yeah
I’ll stick with Naval Action thanks.
Fair winds to you sir🙂🍻

Very pirates of the caribbean in the theme☺️
I had it in crosshair as well, but it looks like it will be about as arcade-y as Asassins Creed Black Flag. And that a bad thing

Yeah it might. Very Arcade but fun in its own way

😂 darn good question
So sad Naval Action is dead😢 for me there is no option for play a game like this in Combat and realism
Yeah me too. It had so great potential. I just can’t keep myself motivated to play on a server that wipes repeatedly 😒
Come back to NA, it's a order soldier
Not a chance in its current state😅
@@norseman_5334 I prefer this way, in the old patch ships had alot of HP, and canons were like machine guns, i just miss the thickness
