I think the fashion industry is really just playing jokes sometimes, comes up with the ugliest designs they can create and throw ridiculous price tags on them because they know athletes in particular are gonna buy them and actually wear them, which trickles down to fans of said athlete going out and buying them too. Even some Jordan designs are really, really ugly, but people will still go and get them just to have the latest Jordans.
