This information is in many official BTS sources like their recent Beyond the Story book and BTS Monuments documentary, as well as the Taylor Mori guide (Guide to the Bangtan 7) that all new fans watch to become familiar with the members.

J-Hope is the leader - he learns the choreo and teaches it to the other members and monitors as well. Jimin does help at times especially with adjusting staging on tour. They have their own silent language at this point - one look and they have an entire discussion about what the change is. Jimin does help the other members at times, more on a one to one basis, outside of regular practice.
The stage you were asking about is ON and the choreo is bonkers especially when they do the full stage with dance break.
J-hope is not a leader Hobi is only good at hiphop but Jimin knows so many genres and has perfected them from Hip hop, crumping, contemporary, modern dance and most flexibil kpop idol

J-Hope as the dance captain leads the rehearsals and adjusts the routines to fit different venues. The others help too. J-Hope is the Dance Leader. He learns the dances very quickly, often changes parts of the choreography and then teaches and monitors the other members. There are many videos out there about J-Hope as Dance Leader. He is a perfectionist so the other guys say they get scared of Hobi’s look when they mess up.

Hey ben, i just want to let you know that BTS does choreographys. But jhope is BTS Dance leader. Jimin is the main dancer and so is jungkook. V is the lead dancer of bts. Both jhope the dance leader and jimin learn the choreography way faster than the rest of bts. So both jhope and jimin are able to teach the rest guys the choreography. And even give members extra help when they need it. I hope this helps you ben.🥰💜
