On second thoughts, that bend at 04:45 might actually just be a normal part of the pattern. For another example of paper curling, go to 01:20, and check out the top-right corner of the page itself. Note how that's getting cut off after the photo is captured. That's a problem that the heavy plastic sheet solves. Why is it a problem to lose what was only a bit of redundant, blank corner space? Because it can cause warping throughout that whole side of the image. Once i feel i've actually perfected my scanning station to a point where it's worth sharing, i will make a video explaining where i get this sheet, how i get the poplin the same exact size, and a walk through an entire scanning and tracing process in an overview style (instead of in painful detail like i normally do, haha)
hey im making a costume out of foam and i thought this coud help but i dont understad how i make it bigger like a piece was 42cm so i made it 4.2cm so how can i make it big again simple

@manza3457 sorry I'm unfamiliar with how to use 3d rendering software. I don't know if this would help, but did you try search for how to convert your 3d file to SVG? Then you can import that file to Inkscape.
@manza3457 maybe you can stick it down, draw a grid on it 10cmx10cm then draw it again on a huge piece of paper with a grid with squares ten times the size? Then you won't have to use anything digital to do it.
