Glad it can support a 5800X3D no problems. I've been wanting an LPX cooler of this calibre for eternity. Makes perfect sense for HTX builds and APU gamers in future. Especially with what AMD has in store for us. 8-12 Cores, 40CUs of RDNA 3.5! 120W TDP...
Do you think it actually heats up VRMs? The bigger model reaches over to the DIMM slots, I'm curious if it actually increases the temperature, since it's blowing warmed air from the cpu directly onto it. What do you think? I am considering the bigger one for memory overclocking to keep the temps down (some memory is really heat sensitive, starts to get errors at around 45 degrees).
Yes, this did keep the vrms cooler without any cooling it reaches stupid hot but it should help with memory overclocking though as its pushing air directly over the memory
@@WELSHYTECH some BeQuiet fans then maybe, i would consider using this cpu cooler for like a small form factor build where the fact of how the fans look, doesn't particularly matter
was this cooler easy to install? The bigger JF13K usually would be installed by carefully lining the motherboard on it. Thats the easiest way. What about this? is it easy to reinstall for repasting without having to fiddle removing the whole motherboard?
installation was straight forward you wouldn't have to remove the motherboard for installation or removing as I didn't have any problems with installation or removable
I been eyeing on this cooler for quiet some time. I wonder if this is better than Thermalright PA SE tho. I've been thinking of going assasin or this one since this one blocks ram view =)
@@WELSHYTECH How did you get it in the UK ? We couldn't even get the big one here in Canada for a year after its release. I had to order mine from China via Chinese 3rd party marketplace that repackaged it and sent it to me. Ended up paying nearly 100 USD.
I got the original & this thing cooled a 5800X3D with no problem. I wish the mini was around. This maybe my next one.
It's a good Cooler it looks great and performs great

Very interesting air cooler..... I hope more manufacturers make more of these beefy air cooler with better technology and innovation XD
Who needs a beefy air cooler when you can just attach a mini fridge to your CPU? 😄
can you swap these with different fans? which would you recommend?
Watch the video 2.50
I think it looks sick. Wish it had duel pipes and not on just one side. But for the price you can't beat it
I know, right? looks sweet and yes I agree
Glad they made a slightly better version. Tell me though, are those fans 120mm, or are they smaller?
92mm fans bud
@@WELSHYTECH Thanks for that. Now I know what to look for when I search up high pressure fans.
@@justinpatterson5291 you are welcome
Does it support itx boards? Also what TDP is it rated for
that's going to depend on what case and TDP 174
@@WELSHYTECH thanks

@@WELSHYTECH I see, even though it's warm air from the CPU being blasted onto the memory? Thank you for the quick reply too! (:
@@Tadders yeah be fine as long as you ain't pushing your cpu full load
could you try to replace the fans for something like noctua
so it's not so loud, you kow?
I wouldn't as I think Noctua fans look horrible

i missed the point, i see now, my bad

Interesting design, looks kinda cool.
I know right isn't bad

really depending on what CPU you have really if its not a high wattage CPU then any would be fine
would you recommend this for a 181w tdp cpu? aka 13600k oc
If you need a cooler like this, then yes, it would be just fine
I wonder, does this fit an ITX mobo?!..as in clearance to the I/O side and not hitting the back of the case there on the left side
It does have very good clearance, but as it's a face-down cooler, if anything is stopping airflow, it would suffer
Are the fans standard 92mm? Or something else?
Yeah, 92mm fans they have a custom bracket that connects both, but it's removable
@@WELSHYTECHthanks 🙏
Will this fit in jonsbo c6 case?
I honestly doubt it the overall height is 101mm so you would have to check the case
So how much smaller it is than normal JF13K ?
Fans are smaller size, and it's also smaller in size, but as I haven't got the JF13K here to make the comparison, it's just smaller

Um, that bar statistics is totally unlegible. You're using the two colors for another set of different tests .. maybe NOT?
oh really I'm colorblind and to me the colors are different but I do say the Results
Nice cooler 😎
cheers bud it does look nice
omg vs axp120 and sl-100
Maybe my next head2head

Idle cpu temps.....who tf cares about that? It's not like anyone uses their PC doing nothing on it.
Well, if I don't put them in people moan so I put them in to stop that from happening I can't win either way
It's a waste of time. People who moan about this have no knowledge about PCs anyway.
