*Jung & Naiv* with *Jacob Appelbaum* about *the architecture behind Big Brother*: What do Snowden's revelations mean? What do they show us? What can be done? What to do with politicians who say there's nothing that can be done? What role does especially Germany play in all of this? You don't wanna miss this. But if you do, that's fine, too. Then again, you really have to know about this. Part 1 with Jacob Appelbaum: ruclips.net/video/ox_SUlzcJMs/видео.html Part 3 with your questions is coming up tomorrow.
Nur ein paar Quotes aus 35 Minuten: _"So, part of what Snowden has revealed to us, is exactly that huge problem that there is a disconnect between what we believe is happening, and what is possible, and what is actually taking place, and why its is taking place, and who is doing it."_ _"I think Germany should not tolerate, in an election cycle, this kind of dialogue. It's a preposterous thing to say, there's nothing to be done. And in fact, Germany knows exactly what is to be done. It's election time, right? So, when people say, they don't want to talk about these things, kick them out."_ *Jung & Naiv - Folge 72* Watch it. Share it. Deal with it.
Tilo, the whole subject of private security firms, from intelligence and marketing, to paramiltitary, is one which relates to Jacob's work. I hope you will one day check into that. We have a young journalist in the USA who is facing 106 years of imprisonment for merely posting a link on his website to information already exposed, concerning a private security firm.
Super Interview!
Thank you for the reply. I agree with your assessment of capitalism. Since Reagan, it is popular to say, "Government is the problem" and maybe they are right. However, corporate interests that have availed themselves of government largess and at the same time, these interests have been dismantling government and disenfranchising the citizenry of social service. In my opinion, the role of government is to mediate between large interest and the individual. This role has been subverted
The headless man / woman thing is Contelpro? Holy shit. I mean I knew that was tied into Anonymous, but.. that shit's all over the music / media industries.
Go easy on him. Tilo is doing excellent job. I'm jealous too that he would get all the hot chicks, but my job was once to evaluate the use of looks and personality, among other advantages, to teach. It works, and the kids remember it forever. Go Tilo! I met an 82 year old journalist who got into Israel and competing states by using charm and naivete' to avoid showing a passport full of the "wrong" stamps. He also walked into Bosnia. He was still walking immense miles, cool and easy last year.
