I added a live chat availability time in GMT on the online and offline messages, then leave it online permanently. Only just added plugin, so good idea on the knowledge base! Need to add in articles :)

Did you measure the impact on page speed?
I was using hubspot chat but it added a lot of code and doubled the loading speed so i had to remove it.

Good point, I’ll check - I would probably only run this on landing pages, if you want to totally minimise code for ranking blog posts then don’t load it on those pages
