    Yes indeed - this was an interesting day. That sand trap has not let storm water pass in many years. You found a smoking cannon this time. Could the fittings that cracked have frozen because they were full of water? Don't know what your frost line may be - but when I first saw the split, freezing is what I thought. I get a real bang out of the way you can manipulate the bucket. The little tilt and scratch motions are VERY cool. Have a good weekend!

      Frost depth is 1,6 meters. About the depth of the cracked pipes.But that is so rare to happen. And this close to a heated house under a lawn that has Snow all winter as insulation i would say its not frozen water that caused it.
