Thanks very much once again for having me back on the channel Winters! Had a blast and love playing 40k with you on your superb tables. Absolute pleasure and surreal experience! Looking forwards to joining you again come September and especially looking forward to the event come October! Hopefully fate will shine on my Eldar come the next time they run the Murder Bowl xD
Respect to the Eldar guy for not complaining about his horrendous rolling and having a laugh about it. Some of the stuff in the Necron army seems kinda busted right now. 4+ invuln on a large unit with 4 wounds, FNP and re-animation?!
Thanks for the kind words! At the end of the day we are both playing a game for fun. I tend to play more narrative and fluffy lists befitting the stories behind my armies. At the end of the day though its the dice that dictate the tale. It didn't work out during that game but it still tells a fun story :P
Canoptek wraiths are basically just necron terminators with higher defensive abilities but way weaker offensive abilities. And about reanimation; it is not as strong as many non-necron players say it is. It is only an average of 7 wounds reanimated if the unit had to reanimate all 5 command phases.
@@danjones3012 I'd like to see the calculation for that. 5x D3 doesn't result in 7 wounds if I'm not mistaken. And there are additional possibilities for even more regeneration
Man it's crazy seeing Eldar players complain about other armies being busted. I play Eldar too but listening to the Elder player describe what their units do was jaw dropping. I've been playing Tau lately and seeing other armies just throw around special rules like that for no drawback almost feels unfair.
56:00 I feel that, thematically, if you kill every leader of a side they should have some kind of penalty such as no stratagems. Doubly so for the Necrons.
Agree with all of the mentions winters, my special mention is the lords of silence again gives an insight into the life of plague marines and siegemaster vorx is a G
Looking forward to this. Sort of feel murder bowl inherently favours necrons with their cheaper unit cost though! Maybe the winters effect (narrative suicide) will swing the balance
@@danjones3012 I just note thst aeldar have units of 5 and necrons units of 20 infantry. I think their line infantry is far meatier but haven't done a direct point cost comparison. Those were just my initial thoughts.
@@beornthebears3041 necron warriors are 100 points for 10. T4 1W, no real weapon options, just lethals with 12" ap1 st4 or 24" ap0 st4. Immortals are 75 for 5 models, slightly better weapons with both at st5. Skorpek destroyers are infantry also but melee only and 90 for 3. T6, 3W. Lychguard are 85 for 5, t5, 2w. Melee only. Triarch praetorian are 115 for 5, t5, 2w. Very bad weapons.
The more batreps I watch, and games I play I am pretty sure Eldar are just in a bad place right now. Most squads need a 60 to 100 pt character to access abiities that other armies have as base abiities. The proliferation of invulnerable followed by feel no pain on multi wound models has diminished their firepower. They lack the high S high AP multi shot weapons to get through that. They have fallen behind the codex curve leaving the list feeling very pigeon holed into a couple of builds. That's becoming boring. I'm curious what others are finding still useful in the list at this point. With the speed of other armies i feel like i can build a more "Eldar-like" list with the space marine codex than with the Eldar index.
To be Honest Eldar have always been a rather underpowered army. For a race created by the Old Ones specifically to fight the Necrons on even tech levels, they are very underwhelming. I've looked at collecting Eldar several times over the last few decades, but every time they just seem to be too weak to compete. Love the aesthetic of them, hate the gameplay stats.
That's going to haunt you the rest of your life, every where you go you will hear it "sir, would you like fries with your elder re-roll" "honey we are pregnant its going to be an elder re-roll".

I play with inshen every week and that’s just who he is! He takes bad rolls like a champ! Honestly one of the nicest people to play every game!

That eldar army looks incredible.
47:50 now thats just painfull.

Great looking armies, great plays, and solid sportsmanship. I'm here for it! Good going Inshen!
I'm no knife-ear lover... but that eldar paint scheme is awesome. Red, black, and gray are some of my favorites and these look so sick.
Necrons so OP right now. 4+ invuln, feel no pains, rerolls, lethal, just everything.
Don't forget the revive abilities!
It seems our glorious leader Fran has tainted the dice rolls on this day! Inshen brought him as a bad luck charm! 😂
I see you, Daggaz

Nice to see the shattered again.
I've always loved the sportsmanship on this channel. Cheers ta
Looking forward to this one! Great to see inshen back 👏
Ignoring fate to murder the wraithblades was elite necron tactics
Great seeing murderbowl again.
Man Eldar are feeling a little lackluster at this point, being left behind by codecies
Appreciate the Eldar player's good nature!
A-Barges are twin-linked
Always love to see inshen on the channel! Great player, just a shame the dice gods were not looking down upon him on this day!
Oh new table! Problem with this match up, I want both armies to lose :P
I know that feeling but for me its death guard vs black templars.
You know Necrons are the best.
why

Must admit, that didn't go how I expected. Fun game as always.
I expected cute wraithbunny army with 5 model wraith units, wraithlords, banshees and stuff to get wiped and it went as expected.
Fabulous as always, always refreshing to have non human factions on the battle grid.
Great game, fun to watch as always!!

Use winters blue dice next time! 😂
Dice were definitely a factor in this game! Not having a Spirit Seer in the wraithcannon Wraitguard is a mistake. Really makes a difference with them.
I know they are better in Wraithguard but it was a fun fluffy list xD
Yeah, shoulda used the blue dice!
The 4+ invun on wraiths seems massively unbalanced?
I don't play myself, but I watch a lot of BRs. And based on what I've watched/heard, Eldar just seem underpowered on the tabletop.
You never call it a MISS-ile launcher. It is a rocket launcher or such. Well known fact since at least 2ns ed.
Don't Eldar only have 6 fate dice at the start these days, not 9? Great batrep as always Winters!
@@HereticDave40k My Farseer was count as Eldrad who grants three additional dice :)

Wraith this, wraith that, my god this was a confusing report to listen to
Dice god's were definitely not in eldar's favor today. Makes me sad.
Very nice battle report! Keep in mind the plasmancer you roll only 1d6 and on 4+ you do a mortal wound 😊
The plasmancer is 4d6, mortal wounds on 4 ups.
