My beloved ♥ Highgate cemetery! Great tour. Many happy memories from childhood. Our favorite thing to do Wolfe from Citizen Smith call of ' power to the people ' by Karl Marx's grave when no one else was around 😀😄😊😉 . Very informative post.
We walked through Brompton Cemetery and Fulham Cemetery. The tombs are something out of a scary movie, just unbelievable. We have never seen anything like it here. Some of the tombs are as big as a cabin where families are buried together. We took loads of pictures. We walked through the Fulham Cemetery a few times to go to the convenience store and our favourite pizza restaurant. I have seen various videos on Highgate Cemetery and knew George was buried here, This cemetery is on our list for next time
ooooweeeee, spooky time! What a spectacular cemetery! I never knew this existed. Absolutely amazing. And I am not surprised that a piece of Harry Potter was filmed here as this was just a place for it. George Elliot!! A great writer - she was. LOL What a beautiful entrance building that could look like a haunted mansion. But gorgeous!! And Highgate Cemetery is absolutely gorgeous! Beautiful history and trees. Amazing that families tried to out do each other in erecting gargantuan monuments. Beautiful. I love the Egyptian Avenue and it is amazing. Like the music and the spooky documentary of it! Vincent Price has nothing on Steve! Fun. Hey London Visited family....this one is really TOP DRAWER!!
NOBODY (and I mean nobody, in *Western context) - honored the ritual and mystery of death like the Victorians. It is/was *artful, intricate, oded and braided into culture. (Nothing to do with the mystery of passing flesh, Steve, but to me an article I read about a 19th century aristocrat captured this very dense, eccentric - marvelous - aesthetic and perspective: the wealthy landowner/aristocrat had a particularly beloved *pig, who when the creature passed, erected a quite formal, quite impressive, quite tall - obelisk. The structure entitled: "Obelisk to a Pig.").
Tales from the crypt👻! I LOVE a good walk through a graveyard. I hope your re-running your footage to see if you caught anything😅! Just imagine...👻😱

That made me laugh at the thought of it. Especially looking out for other people to avoid, brilliant. Thanks as always Lesley 😀👍

George Michael has the most pristine grave by far of anyone else there
Because its new and the money is available for upkeep.
